PokerSnowie is an advanced software that helps you analyze your hands, identify even subtle mistakes, and compete with artificial intelligence. We tested the simulator, testing all its features, exploring hand loading, and creating custom scenarios.
The company's website claims over 220,000 trust the software, and Jungleman is quoted as saying, “You wouldn't think a computer would have that kind of balls!”
How to Register with PokerSnowie
You can download the program from the GipsyTeam store, or the simulator's official website. You can also create an account at pokersnowie.com in advance; there are two options:
- Log in with your Google account
- Register with an email address and password
After that, all you have to do is open your email and follow the link to activate your account. By default, you'll be offered a ten-day trial, after which you can choose a subscription option. A few days before the free trial ends, you'll receive a notification email.
The simulator supports several languages, which can be changed in the settings.
The software download took less than a minute. All you need to do is select a folder to store the file and agree to the developer's Terms of Service. Before starting, you are asked to log in again. To avoid having to enter your username and password each time, we recommend checking the "Remember Me" box.
Training
The mode includes three tabs—cash, freezeout, and custom. Each section can be customized manually.
- Freezeout: Standard settings allow you to set the number of players from two to ten, starting stack sizes from 10bb to 200bb, and the level progression rate: slow, standard, and turbo formats are available. Antes are not taken by default, but you can enable this option before the start.

During your workout, you can choose from four different AI advice modes (Live Advice):
1. Always On: Before the hero's move, the program prompts the EV of each action.
2. On Demand: The software's opinion is provided, but only upon request.
3. Errors: After a suboptimal decision, a window appears explaining the error. We discovered a minor issue here: in full-screen mode, the Continue button overlaps the EV values for the call. The solution is simple: exit full-screen mode.

4. Blunders Only: The software will only highlight serious mistakes—blunders—with an EV Loss greater than 2bb. This value can be changed later in the settings.
Freezeout blinds increase every twenty hands. After winning or losing all your chips, you can leave the practice session or try to get revenge by restarting it with the same or different settings.
- Cash Games: The simulation can be run from heads-up to 10-max, with random seating. There are no micro-stakes tables, starting from NL20, but the list also includes ultra-high stakes tables with blinds of $20,000/$40,000. If you buy in for less than 50 big blinds, you can choose a capped table, where your stack will be rounded up to your starting stack after each hand you win. You can choose an ante size—0.1, 0.25, or 0.5 big blinds—and disable rake.
During training, the profit in the current session and the number of hands played are displayed at the top.- Custom Format: The key difference from cash is that you can choose a specific position at the table. However, you can't change it during a session.
Before starting your practice session, you can set your own range so that only cards pre-marked in the matrix are dealt. Table size, stacks, and limit options are the same as in cash games.

Scenarios
In this tab, you can simulate game situations and analyze past hands. To create a new spot, select the limit and table format—heads-up, 6-max, or full ring—and mark the desired positions. After that, all you have to do is enter the players' cards, and the software will calculate the optimal action for each street. You can conveniently switch between betting rounds using the arrow keys on your keyboard. Postflop cards are also selected manually.
The Hand Strength tab displays the hand strength at showdown and the optimal sizing. Before selecting a player's cards, we recommend reviewing PokerSnowie's suggested range by clicking the matrix icon next to their nickname.
This tab also offers advice on strategy and betting frequencies for each street.

Any script can be saved to your computer by clicking Save in the top corner of the screen. The document is saved in .ps format by default, but you can change it later through the file's internal settings.
To download the distributions to the software, click the Load button. What to do if the history on the device is saved in the txt extension:
- In the file search bar, click on the document format.
- Select All Files.
- Find the file you need in the list.
Import & Analysis
This section stores all hands played in practice mode. To view the results of a specific session, select it in the general list and click the View Results button. To download the hand database from the room, use the Import Files button; the software recognizes both .txt and .html formats. It works reliably—processing a 50,000-hand database took less than a minute.
The scale displays an error index, with each division assigned a level. When analyzing cash hands, you can see the overall profit, the win rate in dollars per hand, and the number of gross errors and inaccuracies.

The GTO Balance tab displays the percentage of hands played according to PokerSnowie's recommendations. At the time of testing, this section was in beta mode, so we do not recommend relying on the figures provided.

Errors can be analyzed in scenario mode: simply click "Browse All Errors," which will automatically take you to the relevant section. Any errors are highlighted in red; clicking them reveals AI advice at the bottom.

You can edit the selected scenario by clicking Edit Scenario and changing the hole cards or community cards on the table. The software will adjust the decision and suggest the optimal strategy based on your choice.
Developing Skills
The software displays lines showing the change in the number of errors on each street, and you can select statistics for the day, week, and month. You can also display separate graphs for cash games, tournaments, or internal training sessions within the program.

The PokerSnowie Mobile Application
PokerSnowie has two apps—one for postflop and one for preflop—and they're only available for iPhone. iOS 8.0 or later is required.
However, both apps are underwhelming – PokerSnowie Postflop was last updated in 2019, and currently only offers a cash game practice mode. The table selection was also surprising – they only offer heads-up or 5-max.

The limit selection is limited compared to the desktop version: NL100, NL200, NL400, NL1,000, NL2,000, NL3,000, and NL5,000. Starting stacks are also limited, with a push-fold limit of 15bb, a standard buy-in of 100bb, and deep stacks of 200bb. The program is free to use.
The PokerSnowie Preflop app leaves even less room for maneuver; by default, it only includes a hand matrix for open-raising at a 6-max table, 50bb deep, at low limits. To unlock the remaining features, you need to choose one of the subscription plans for $2.50 or $4.50 per month.
PokerSnowie Settings
In your PokerSnowie account, you can set bet sizes for hotkeys, select an EV Loss value for major errors, and change the language. There are also cosmetic settings:
- Disabling animation
- Activating the Four-Color Deck
- Sound
- Light or dark theme
In this section, you can also select a currency; the US dollar is offered by default. The British pound, Indian rupee, Canadian dollar, euro, and Swedish krona are also available. When downloading hands from rooms with different currencies, the software converts them using the exchange rate, but you can also customize the value.

PokerSnowie Support Service
PokerSnowie support is available Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Central European Time. Currently, the only contact method is support@pokersnowie.com. During testing, we contacted support once, and received a response within a couple of hours.
PokerSnowie Subscription Plans
After registering on the PokerSnowie website, you can use the program for free for ten days. Then, choose a monthly or annual plan.
Both plans are available in the GipsyTeam store with a 20% discount—a monthly subscription currently costs $24. The annual plan is even more affordable—the software costs just $13 per month.
Final Thoughts About PokerSnowie
My overall impressions after several days of testing PokerSnowie are positive. The software runs smoothly, and there were no issues with file uploads. Registration and downloading the program took only a few minutes combined.
The software is primarily suitable for beginner grinders who are still learning to think in ranges—it allows you to simulate various game situations, and PokerSnowie will suggest the optimal strategy for each spot, including bet sizes.
