FirstFund: A New Name in the Poker Training Market

FunFarm is here. You've probably never heard of us, but for newbies, let us introduce ourselves:

• Third League with ABI $5.5 — 1.23 million tournaments, $1.7 million profit, ROI 25.5%, 11.9 EVbb/100.
• Second League with ABI $16 — 765 thousand tournaments, $2.6 million in profit, ROI 21.0%, 11.7 EVbb/100.
• First League with ABI $41 — 288 thousand tournaments, $2.4 million in profit, ROI 20.7%, 10.5 EVbb/100.

EVbb/100 is a popular metric for tracking results, but it's more suitable for cash games: MTTs have significantly greater differences in tournament difficulty with different buy-ins, structures, effective stack sizes, and so on.

Therefore, to evaluate players, we developed FF EV, which allows us to better assess win rates in MTTs. FF EV correlates more strongly with ROI and allows for more accurate tournament selection. After implementing FF EV-based tournament selection, players began earning more consistently, using their playing time more efficiently, and moving up in stakes, eliminating long, deep draws. The table below clearly demonstrates how FF EV differs from standard EV, but allows for a more accurate determination of a player's ABI.

More Than Just FunFarm

From October 2025, the fund will change its organizational structure.

FunFarm is becoming a project aimed at beginners and aspiring regulars. Here, we'll help you build a solid foundation of knowledge and skills that will enable you to earn a consistent income from poker. Training will be offered in two programs: "FF Start" and "FF Player's Path."

FF Start

A free program for those just starting out in poker or not yet considering it as a career. There's something for everyone:

• We offer beginners a safe start: we'll provide a solid foundation, explain game logic, teach you to think like a pro, and apply winning strategies from your very first sessions. Everything is step-by-step and in simple language. We'll also provide a bankroll.
• We'll help amateurs transform poker from a hobby into a source of income. We'll show you how to effectively balance play with work, how much time to devote to learning, and, most importantly, how to turn a profit and stop playing by instinct.
• For regulars who can't escape the micro-stakes morass, we'll fill in the theoretical gaps, build their playing discipline, and demonstrate professional work ethic. They'll have a chance to join the fund's team—with support and an unlimited bankroll.

The course is structured step-by-step, from the most basic concepts to advanced mathematical ones. First, there's theory and practice tests, then we transfer $50 to the room's account to test our skills in practice. Experienced mentors and customer support assist at every stage—we never have situations where players don't know what to do or learn next.

There are no restrictions on training and no contract or obligation to join the fund; you can simply learn for yourself. However, if you want to develop further with FF, you can apply to join the school after playing 150 tournaments with a positive win rate.

FF Player's Path

The second program helps those who have decided to make poker their profession get a confident start. FunFarm analyzed the experience of thousands of students and developed "The Player's Path"—a system that not only guides you step-by-step to results but also makes learning engaging and fun. The program was created by Ivan Mylerika with the support of Ilya Legenden and top methodologists.

The path consists of 15 levels, each with its own knowledge base and practical tasks. Students start at the minimum stakes and gradually work their way up to ABI $25. At each stage, you'll receive feedback from coaches and mentors, current ABI $40+ players from the top leagues.

The training is completely free . Furthermore, FunFarm will provide a bankroll and share the necessary poker software. We invest in our players so we can earn together in the future.
