One of the most losing players in online micro-stakes posted results throughout 2025, documenting their own downfall as usual.

If you have heard the story of Paisting, then no foreshadowing is needed. While many players only talk about their big wins and are selective with publicity, Paisting is the opposite.

It’s almost always bad, and it’s always put online for everyone to see.

Who is Paisting?

Meet Paisting, a micro-stakes player who lives in Finland and can’t seem to win at online poker.

This man is a mixture of several personality traits which seem to work against him. He believes variance has worked against him for 20 years, is highly suspicious of the game’s RNG, thinks his opponents are all bad players, and unwilling to accept the truth about his situation.

Above all, he is stubborn on a level that scientists would probably rush to study.

We covered one of Paisting’s winning months in 2024. It was just over $100, but he celebrated like it was a million.

  • In 2024, he lost $8,099.93, plus about -$320 from tournaments.
  • In 2023, he lost $8,149.02, plus about -$355 from tournaments.
  • In 2022, he lost $10,594.15, plus about -$674 from tournaments.
  • In 2021, he lost $6,866.98, plus about -$420 from tournaments.
  • In 2020, he lost $13,310.80, plus about $10 from tournaments.

Now let’s see how Paisting did in 2025 while playing on 888poker and GGPoker.

January

To start 2025, Paisting was on form. By that, we mean that he didn’t win, and blamed suckouts, rigged RNG, and poor variance. Playing his usual stakes and game, No-Limit Hold’em $0.05/$0.10 fast fold on 888poker, he somehow lost almost 170 buy-ins.

  • Total Winnings This Month: -$1,693
  • BB/100: -75.37
  • Hands Played: 22,468
9206-1767457241.webp

Total disaster year start and the delay of releasing results it's just because of the massive amount of suckouts. This is definitely new record of how much I have ever confronted suckouts. They can't even fit to one page anymore.

7x 80%+ equity suckouts

22x 70-80% equity suckouts

19x 65-70% equity suckouts

Containing losings with big pairs with equity lead: 2x AA, 6x KK and 7x QQ

Whole month running under ev and resulting 20 buy ins below ev. These are just massive numbers on those stakes. Think about it and think about it what people have said here how many buy ins they target to hit and move stakes up. This is what those comes looks like.

Also remember there is not the times I lose against sets or with KK to AA. Those are also basic examples how manipulated rng is working. Those are all told with high detail examples on those papers I have about rng. The frequency with running to set is many times higher when you play with normal environment.

It's becoming increasingly difficult even for the most active deniers among you to justify how this could possibly be normal. Most of the denialists in this thread by the way are already writing in a panic because they're receiving income from these sources in one way or another.

By the way have you counted how many this kind of months there has been where I've shown this many suckouts? You can't find any player who can show anything like this.

February

Playing about two-thirds of the month as usual, Paisting lost a staggering number of buy-ins. Of course, he explains that this is not due to lack of skill.

  • Total Winnings This Month: -$762
  • BB/100: -35.55
  • Hands Played: 21,456
  • 2025 Winnings To Date: -$2,455
9194-1767457054.webp

February is over and it was some brutal action. $762.86 with 43 65-96% equity suckouts. That alone makes $263.32 and its over the half of suggested bankroll for playing these games.

I confronted:

4x 90%+ equity suckouts

12x 80-90% equity suckouts

18x 70-80% equity suckouts

9x 65-70% equity suckouts

At the end of month I battled quite well against suckouts and even every session went like 4-6 buy ins down almost at the start of session, I still managed to keep head up really good. But way too big losses and when every session is just struggling to get break even graph goes like this. That 263.32 would be nice profit for this month that did go to whales with absolutely garbage hands.

March

This month, for a change, Paisting almost made it into the green. After going down to -$170 after the first 4,500 hands, he played himself back into positive profit after about 9,000 more, peaking at +$30.

  • Total Winnings This Month: $17
  • BB/100: -1.12
  • Hands Played: 15,842
  • 2025 Winnings To Date: -$2,438
9198-1767457057.webp

Second winning month was really close but 24 suckouts and losing $150 to those took care that no profit. Still there was nice punishment and also busto sit outs from guys who plays too face up their cards.

Now we need that month with 6-10 suckouts max and it's definitely winning month then. Just frustrating to get this close but still without profit.

April

Nobody knows how to celebrate a win like Paisting. Despite being down well over $2,000 in the first quarter of 2025, a $90 win is celebrated like winning the lottery.

  • Total Winnings This Month: $89
  • BB/100: 4.13
  • Hands Played: 21,745
  • 2025 Winnings To Date: -$2,349
9192-1767457053.webp

April is over and the second time in history a winning month! I took nearly $90 off the whales. And all this when still losing $200 to brutal suckouts.

Whales were betting small and I bet big and that's where the biggest profits came from. The GTO cosplayers got a taste of what it's like to face someone who actually can smell weakness from bet sizing. I walked all over them. In many spots I got to destroy multiple players with quick moves right after they tanked forever on their own decisions. Bet shove, check shove, bet check shove and I saw many instant sitouts after taking their money.

$200 went against to massive suckouts. 32x 65-95% suckouts.

4x 90%+ equity

9x 80-90% equity

8x 70-80% equity

11x 65-70% equity

But now it's time for some tenderloin with these winnings. Let's see what comes up during this new month.

May

Paisting played about half as much this month, and lost far less as well. Considering his $1,693 loss in January, May can almost be considered breaking even!

  • Total Winnings This Month: -$297
  • BB/100: -24.17
  • Hands Played: 12,279
  • 2025 Winnings To Date: -$2,735
9199-1767457058.webp

The whole May was total suckouts without any possibility of making profit. 80 dollars under ev and losing 150 dollars to 65-90% suckouts. Worst run was near around 2.5k hands where ev was on profit but total result over 100 dollars down.

4x 80%+ equity suckouts

8x 70-80% equity suckouts

8x 65-70% equity suckouts.

June

Showing lighter volume again might mean that Paisting was enjoying the summer months in Finland. But after a relatively small loss, he cracked through the minus $3,000 milestone.

  • Total Winnings This Month: -$388
  • BB/100: -30.09
  • Hands Played: 12,910
  • 2025 Winnings To Date: -$3,123
9197-1767457056.webp

Brutal month with running 100 dollars under ev. Almost 170 dollars went to 23 suckouts.

2x 95%+ equity suckouts

5x 80-90% equity suckouts

8x 70-80% equity suckouts

7x 65-70% equity suckouts

July

As the weather gets even warmer, the decks apparently get colder for Paisting. He put in over 40,000 hands in July, losing his largest monthly sum to date.

  • Total Winnings This Month: -$2,614
  • BB/100: -64.64
  • Hands Played: 40,444
  • 2025 Winnings To Date: -$5,737
9196-1767457056.webp

An absolutely brutal month and by far the worst month of suckouts I've ever had. I lost practically every single time I got it in as a favorite. Just from suckouts alone I lost over $500 precisely $520 which is more than the bankroll many people here recommend. Some even play with less and weÂ’ve all seen those claiming they beat the games after winning 20 buy ins.

I lost 78 times with 65–97% equity:

3x 95%+ equity suckouts

1x 90-95% equity suckouts

17x 80-90% equity suckouts

33x 70-80% equity suckouts

24x 65-70% equity suckouts

These contains 7x AA lost to suckout and 8x KK lose to suckout.

On top of that I lost flips at such a rate that I'm down $112 after 40k hands. Every time I had a big pair someone had a bigger one. Didn't matter if I had aces or kings whales always showed up with the same often multiple times.

Look at this. I’ve been showing this kind of stuff for years now. It’s not just 30 or 40 suckouts. We’re talking almost 80 suckouts. Every ****ing time I get it in against these whales this happens.

And then comes the same old response: “Why you play there?” Do you understand this rng operates illegally in every country? You should be actively working to stop this kind of thing from happening not repeating same ****. It's not just "haha they hoax!" It's something that is not allowed. And this is also mathematically impossible.

The worst part? There’s not a single one good player in the entire nl10 player pool. It's full of ****ing ******ed whales. My hand hurts because of green tagging whales every session and every round. Limp, call, limp, call and every ****ing time they suckout.

And if you find it hard to respond to this then please explain what hands and spots actually generate profit in nl10 when you're losing $500+ on your best hands to pure suckouts? Time to open your eyes. And when you start wondering who is good player me or someone else take a look at who keeps getting it in good against these whales and makes them crap their pants over and over again. Show me one person on this planet who takes this many suckouts. Just one. Anywhere on Earth.

It's time to finally wake up!

August

Play less, lose less. This simple concept seems to unlock a higher win rate for Paisting, as he played a quarter of the hands he did in July, and lost only 5% as much.

  • Total Winnings This Month: -$133
  • BB/100: -13.24
  • Hands Played: 10,010
  • 2025 Winnings To Date: -$5,870
9193-1767457054.webp

August is behind and I ended up with a small loss. Compared to last month’s brutal all time record suckouts rng worked more normally this time, so in that sense the result is better. It’s pretty clear to see when the suckouts start hitting. At the beginning of the month when there were hardly any the check shoves took the money off the whales in no time.

The month also included a few snap calls on the river when a brainless whale bluffed his stack straight to me.

Games on this month are up and running.

September

Back up closer to his usual 20K hands, Paisting managed to control losses, but not stay above water.

This month, Paisting turned up at the tables while Eastyyy22 was completing his $1000 micro-stakes challenge, and managed to flop a set on Nick Eastwood (video here).

  • Total Winnings This Month: -$578
  • BB/100: -31.61
  • Hands Played: 19,022
  • 2025 Winnings To Date: -$6,448
9202-1767457060.webp

It was again highly suckouted month. I lost 18 buy ins to suckouts. Also flips went to whales. Volume was quite good. Many spots where I hero called against better but still in big picture I take it as bad luck. Those stakes they still try to bluff way too much so calling light is better option than fold.

Lets keep grinding!

October

As Paisting says (yet again), his play was tainted in October by suckouts and manipulated RNG. But, October’s losses were quite small compared to other months, and he managed to go on an upwards trajectory after the first 3,000 hands.

  • Total Winnings This Month: -$138
  • BB/100: -9.78
  • Hands Played: 14,097
  • 2025 Winnings To Date: -$6,586
9201-1767457059.webp

October is over and the beginning of the month was all about getting highly suckouted. I managed to turn things up but still ended up far from tenderloin and wine.

Once again it’s clear that when there are fewer suckouts overall the results are better. The players at these stakes are worse than ever in the history of online poker. Sucking out is basically their only way to win. And if the site itself is helping them by manipulating rng in their favor the outcome is a disaster. There were some absolutely massive suckouts this month too but overall the rng was not so ****ed up this month.

November

As the year draws closer to its final hours, it seems impossible that Paisting can end it in on a positive note. November was the kind of month where he didn’t push himself much further into the red.

  • Total Winnings This Month: -$221
  • BB/100: -12.01
  • Hands Played: 18,456
  • 2025 Winnings To Date: -$7067
9200-1767457058.webp

Second last month of the year is in the graph and once again it was month with more suckouts than previous one. And of course it had major impact on the results. I lost about $150 to suckouts.

There were couple of nice runnings in the graph and during those I managed to punish the whales hard. Ev stayed surprisingly stable this time considering how many suckouts there were.

The whale punishment for December has already begun and right at the start of next month I’ll post the full year in numbers.

Paisting’s 2025 Wrap Up

As you probably predicted, Paisting did not end up with profit at the end of 2025. Despite tagging whales so much that his “hand starts to ache,” Paisting couldn’t beat the NL10 players on 888poker or GGPoker (which he calls Negreanu’s pyramid scheme). But there were wins, which he chalks up to flop check shoves and massive river bluffs against tight players.

Forget 2025 though, he says that the “punishment of the whales has already begun” in 2026.

Here are the numbers for Paisting in 2025.

  • BB/100 on 888poker: -35.17
  • BB/100 on GGPoker: -18.26
  • Hands Played on 888poker: 166,007
  • Hands Played on GGPoker: 69,609
  • 2025 Winnings To Date on 888poker: -$5,814
  • 2025 Winnings To Date on GGPoker: -$1,253
  • Total Winnings in 2025: -$7067
9204-1767457062.webp
9203-1767457060.webp

The year is wrapped up and the long awaited moment is here. Time to reveal last year's losses. Month after month I was sitting at the same tables with the worst whales in online poker. Roughly 236k hands in total. My main cash game site was still 888 and alongside it I added Daniel Negreanu's pyramid scheme site gg. I wanted a second site mainly to see how much suckouts would happen on a platform where I haven't played so much.

The defining theme of the year was running under ev for the entire year. On 888 I ended up about 30 buy ins under ev and on gg almost the same around 28 buy ins under ev. Just running to suckouts cost me roughly $600. Pretty wild numbers especially considering how small bankrolls are often recommended for these games. With this kind of whale suckout fest your roll gets wiped out surprisingly fast.

As for the game quality it has to be said that the whales are actually worse than during poker's golden years. A lot of people keep claiming that the overall level has gone up because of solvers and other tools but that couldn't be further from the truth. My screen is constantly lighting up green and my hand starts to ache from tagging whales session after session. The tighter players on the other hand is easy to push out of pots with massive bluffs. Almost all of the upswings in the graphs were earned with flop check shoves and massive river bluffs.

If I remember correctly there was maybe one winning month last year. So if we're setting goals for this year the first one is simply a winning month and then more of them. For now the main stake nl10 and I'm not moving up. If anything happens with stakes it will be going down.

A lot of experienced big-winning players haven't played poker in years. Many also said that Paisting wouldn't be playing for many years either and I'm still here. Driven purely by my own ambition I've shown that the real punishers keep showing up year after year. The punishment of the whales has already begun this year.

Let's keep up hard grind in 2026!
