Phil Hellmuth Pays Tribute to His Father
Hellmuth drops a very personal post, remembering his dad’s support through 34 years of WSOP trips, the 1989 Main Event win, and all of the bracelets. We’re all used to poking fun at Hellmuth for his many Main Event costumes and backing prices on his son, but this is a loss we can all relate to in some way.
One thing’s for sure. Phil made his father a very proud man.

Palma got to 3rd in chips later on though, while Givens busted in 33rd. It’s one of those “won the war but lost the battle” situations.
Player Hits $1,000,000 Mystery Bounty
This is why players love mystery bounty tournaments. Just one knockout, and you can luckbox your way into ridiculous money.
This time, it was $1 million over on Natural 8 (GGPoker’s skin for Asia).
DrAvocado pulls the top bounty in the WSOP Online Mystery Millions and has probably paid for a new car by the time you read this.
And it’s almost like Natural 8 has turned up the mystery bounty prizes or something, because it happened again, for $580,000.
Nicolas Godard goes from 1,336th place to up over half a million in a few seconds.
Interesting Approach to Coaching

Triton Triple Threat Mystery Bounty
Kayhan Mokri and Jamil Wikil are all-in, while Alex Anton has called, covering both.
