The QQPoker app was launched in 2024, but at first it was focused exclusively on Asian markets. Almost immediately, the room had a team of QQPK Team ambassadors who helped promote the brand at live series in Malaysia, Korea, Japan and other Asian countries. And in 2025, the app opened its doors to players from all over the world.
To assess the current state of QQPoker, we took the path of a new user: we registered, figured out our personal account, played different types of poker and took a closer look at our opponents.
How to Download the QQPoker App
To download the program, you need to write to GipsyTeam support and request registration instructions. Then follow the link to the application website and download the client for Windows.
The program is distributed as an archive file. After unpacking it, the client can be launched via the QQPK.exe file. To avoid having to go into the folder every time, it is worth creating a shortcut (right-click – "Create shortcut") on the desktop.
If you decide to download the client yourself, we recommend not to look for it on file sharing sites, torrents or any other sites except the official website. Since the client is transferred as an archive, fake versions may contain viruses and trojans.
QQPoker Registration Steps
To create an account, you need to click Sign Up on the authorization screen, enter your phone number, confirm it with a verification code, create a password and click Play. Then write to our support service to check the account linking for better promotions (this takes no more than 48 hours to fully activate).
How to Deposit on QQPoker
You can top up your account via USDT or local payment systems of China, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, the Philippines and Brazil. When depositing in USDT, 1% is automatically added to the amount.
If you have no experience in withdrawing/withdrawing money via USDT, you can contact GipsyTeam support for help .
There are three buttons in the upper right corner of the deposit screen. The first one leads to the menu for adding payment methods: bank cards, accounts and payment systems.

The second button displays the transaction history. The third one opens a chat with support in the browser. You can correspond in Chinese and English.
There is a first deposit bonus of 100% up to $888 (minimum $10 deposit). $1 is credited for every $5 of rake. The term for unlocking the full reward is limited to 90 days. If you make a cashout before the end of this period, the unpaid part of the bonus is canceled.
How to Get to Your Personal Account
The application interface consists of 5 tabs, labeled at the bottom of the screen: SAN (promotions and notifications), POKER, MTT, CASINO and ME (personal account).

Before you start playing, it's worth checking the app and security settings. Two links will help you with this:
- Account Security. Here you can set up a security code, payment password, and account login password. You can also verify your identity and manage payment addresses here.
- Settings. Here you can select a language, adjust the sound, set the desired performance level, switch to another account or log out of the account
The Deposit button opens the cash register, and Wallet opens the transaction history. The remaining sections are informational:
- E-code – to activate promo codes.
- Game Records – reports on cash games played over the last 7 days.
- Items Record – history of using time banks, rabbit hole and other options.
- Smart Statistics – player stats (other players' data is not shown).
- Saved Hands – marked hands (no more than 15).
- Rank Achievement – how many times a particular combination was collected.
- Help Center – terms of service.
The Item Store sells emojis, special effects, and special table backgrounds. These items are paid for with money from your balance. And VIP Perks shows your current loyalty program level and the corresponding privileges.
Layout, Settings and Features of QQPoker
Visually, QQPoker most closely resembles Suprema Poker, with similar color palette and small player icons. However, the young Chinese application has its own minimalist interface – the developers hid as many functional elements as they could outside the layout.

To set up the layout, open any table and swipe up. The game and stack control panel will appear at the bottom of the screen. The Options button leads to the settings.

By the way, "Add Chips" is not an additional purchase of chips, but an auto-rebuy setting. To buy additional chips, you need to click Buy-In. And Buy-Out is an automatic withdrawal of "excess" when the stack exceeds a certain value. However, setting up this function is useless – it does not work in NLH, and in AOF there is a simple checkbox next to Auto Bring-Out.

Betting sizing templates are configured in the Customize tab. At the same time, the raise button itself is made inconveniently – you need to hold it down and pull the slider that appears up to the desired value (up to all-in). But even so, you won't be able to choose an arbitrary sizing, because the scale is tied to a step of 10% of the stack.
If you need an exact bet, you will have to open the virtual keyboard (the physical one doesn’t work!) and enter the number with the mouse.

The buttons on the top left open the hand history and the results summary. As the tournament progresses, a panel with key information appears here: the number of participants, Hero's position, the size of the prize zone and the time until the next blind level. By clicking on it, you can see the details.

Other things worth noting:
- When you buy more chips, the app "doesn't remember" the buy-in you sat down with at the table. You need to calculate and use the slider to specify how much money to add to your stack. You can't enter the amount from the keyboard either.
- There are no "Sitout" or "Wait for BB" buttons.
- Only VPIP is displayed next to the opponent's avatar. To see other stats, you need to open his profile and click Data on table.
- In cash, hole cards are not shown until it is your turn. This is how the application protects itself from team players and complicates the work of automatic prompters.
- There is always not enough time to make a move. The default time is 12 seconds, which is quite a lot. But the sound of the move is hard to hear against the deafening rustle of discarded cards and the clicking of chips. Because of this, you regularly find yourself in time trouble.
An unobvious piece of advice that was literally paid for with our own money during the test drive — don't rush to press buttons, even if their functionality is clear. QQPoker has paid time banks, "rabbit hunting" (showing a runout if the hand ends before the river) and items that can be thrown at opponents. The room often gives them away, but if the balance is zero, it doesn't block the function, but writes off the money. For example, one time bank costs $0.05.

The display of the time bank also raises questions. As you can see in the screenshot, the icon on the screen is poorly highlighted, and at first it is not obvious that you need to click on it to activate the time bank. The timer also covers and darkens the pocket cards. This has also happened: you hear a sound signal and are in a hurry to make a decision, but the cards are not clearly visible and you have to take the time bank to see them.

RNG Verification: Unique but Inconvenient Feature
QQPoker allows you to verify the RNG, like CoinPoker and other online casinos. The algorithm is quite cumbersome and inconvenient, so you won’t be able to quickly verify the fairness of the game immediately after the hand is over. We tried it, though.
How to verify card distribution:
- Launch the replayer and click Verify next to the date. A new window will show the order in which the cards were dealt from the deck.

2. Click on the map. Instructions for checking will appear.

3. Click Open Website and in the window that opens, enter the key from the second point if the instructions in the Paste String for decoding field, and the key from the third point in the Secret Key field .
4. Click Decrypt string . A new line will appear in the top field. The fifth symbol in it denotes the card's denomination, and the sixth symbol denotes the suit.

And all these operations must be performed in tabs and windows that open on top of the table and each other. And in parallel, the next deal is already underway. So if you want to check how it works, it is better to get up from the table first.
Cash Games on QQPoker
The cash games section has tabs for Hold'em, All-in or Fold, Short Deck, and Omaha. But in PLO, during the week of testing the room, not a single active table was found, and in Short Deck, there were a maximum of 1-2 tables per limit (mostly with $0.25 and $0.50 ante).
Classic Hold'em has constant action at limits up to NL2k-5k. At NL2-NL25 they play 6-max, higher – 8-max. At NL10 and higher only tables with ante are available.
The greatest activity occurs in the evening according to Chinese time – approximately from 11:00 to 18:00 GMT time.

The level of play of the opponents is significantly lower than in European poker rooms. Up to about NL200, most players represent the People's Republic of China. They occupy at least 4-5 seats at each table. But even at higher limits, as a rule, there are 2-3 players with the PRC flag.
There are both outright maniacs and very tight opponents sitting with a stack of 30-40bb. But the majority of the audience are passive guys with a VPIP of 35-40, who like to limp-call widely on the preflop and easily give up postflop.

Due to low traffic and the weakness of the field, the issue of selection is not acute (at least up to NL100). In general, it is very easy to figure out who is who when sitting down at the table:
- QQPoker allows and by default activates buy-ins of 20-60bb. Most amateurs start the game with such a stack and do not buy in any more.
- At classic cash tables, statistics for the current session are shown in the opponent's profile. This is available even if you open the table as an observer.

All-in or Fold is played constantly, but not very often. For $0.05 there are 15-20 participants, and for $0.25, $0.50 and $1 it is difficult to find even 10 players.
In May, open beta testing of fast poker was launched. So far, only 6-max NL10 and NL50 are available with a buy-in of $4 and $30, respectively. The audience accepted the format warmly and in prime time the traffic is around 100 entries.

There are no fewer Chinese players at the fast poker tables than at regular cash games, and the level of play is not particularly different, except that amateurs are a little less likely to come in with outright trash (it makes sense – you can quickly fold in an attempt to wait for a good starter). But there is a downside: the opponent's VPIP is not shown next to the avatar, and you can't see stats in the profile.
In May, simplified EV insurance in all-ins was introduced at the tables. The complex scheme with bets on different odds was replaced by a familiar button with the buy-out amount written on it.

Tournaments on QQPoker
The only tournament format is MTT no-limit Hold'em. Buy-ins range from $0.11 to $280. The biggest guarantees are for tournaments from 09:00 to 17:00 GMT time. The schedule is quite tight by the standards of an independent application with a single pool – 6-7 tournaments with buy-ins from $0.88 to $53 start every hour.
Most tournaments are held in turbo and hyper-turbo formats. However, the accelerated growth of blinds is partially compensated by the fact that the game is played at 9-max tables.
There are two formats: freezeouts and Mystery Chest. Moreover, in the second, prizes are paid out differently than in the Mystery Bounty, which is familiar to many:
- The Mystery Chest is activated multiple times during the tournament, most often every 4-5 levels.
- The Mystery Chest prize pool is distributed among gold and silver chests.
- Chests are randomly distributed among all (!) remaining participants in the game.
- The prize in each chest is also random.
- This way, you can win a prize in a tournament at QQPoker without even knocking out your opponents.

At the time of writing, most tournaments are held with overlays. In tournaments up to $50, it usually makes up 20-30% of the guaranteed prize pool, especially on Fridays and Saturdays. And in some cases, the organizers miscalculate the guarantee by 50+%.

They play tournaments very poorly. In the early stages at a 9-max table it is almost impossible to see less than 7 Chinese players. They do not look like regs at all: a lot of limps and multi-pots, the average opponent usually plays fit-or-fold and makes a lot of ICM mistakes.

Opponents, as befits amateurs, do not pay attention to the sizings of opponents, so the basic strategy is very simple: we take the pots postflop with small continuation bets, and with nuts we make big gains.
What About the Rake on QQPoker?
There is no information about the rake in the app or on the website. I had to write to the support chat (they automatically answer in Chinese, but you can quickly switch to English by simply asking a question in it).
This is how the rake is taken in Hold'em.

The limit can be determined by the third column from the right, it means the big blind. The second column from the right is the rake percentage. The last column is the cap. The rake is taken from the preflop.
There is also a Cooler Jackpot fee – 1bb from each pot of 60+bb provided that the hand reaches showdown. This fee is displayed in the hand history.
In MTT the commission is standard – 5-9% for most tournaments. In freezeouts the traditional buy-in line is:
- $0.8 + $0.08
- $1 + $0.1
- $2 + $0.2
- $5 + $0.5
- $10 + $0.9
- $50 + $3
Mystery Chest tournaments charge an additional fee of about 1%.

Loyalty Program on QQPoker
The app has a VIP system, but you shouldn't count on big rewards. For every dollar used in the game, 1 credit is awarded. As you collect them, your status increases.

The level depends on:
- Privileges. Gifts for regular login to the app, VIP level increase and number of saved distributions.
- Daily rewards. Wheel of fortune spins, time banks, "rabbits" and throwables. They are awarded every day, but burn out if not used. You can't accumulate them.
- Weekly and monthly bonus. Regularly accrued conditional chips.
The only thing that is really useful for a regular here are the time banks that can appear in the wheel of fortune.

The application also constantly drops gifts listed as Bonus: for login, for hands played during the day, for VIP level. But these are game chips, they are not converted into real money on the account.
Another thing is bonuses from GipsyTeam! For playing with us you will receive 40% rakeback. The amount is calculated based on NET rake, and the data is automatically updated once a week. You can check them yourself through the assistant bot in your GT+ account.

Software Rating: Multi-Tabling That Trains Tilt Resilience
The client works and looks good when playing one table. But everything changes when the need arises for multi-tabling. Even playing on two tables becomes a test of attention and patience.
In terms of convenience, the QQPoker client resembles SupremaPoker. Tables here are opened not as separate windows or screens superimposed on each other, but as tiles inside the client. You can launch up to 6 tables at a time, but it is comfortable to play on no more than three. Any more tables become a second row, and due to the small font, it is difficult to make out the information.

The client window does not change in size when new tables are added: they are simply placed next to each other and "smaller". You have to aim the cursor at the edges of the window and adjust the aspect ratio manually.

But even if you get used to this feature, other difficulties arise. When changing the window size, the application may break: the image freezes and stretches in different directions. Waiting or trying to return the original dimensions is useless, only a restart helps.

The app settings have a Performance setting with options Low, Middle, High, and Auto. However, the only noticeable change is that multi-tabling is blocked when Low is selected.
During the week-long test, this problem occurred four times. To avoid the error, we recommend:
- Do not click the "Expand to full screen" button in the upper right corner.
- Do not change the window size during your turn (wait until the pocket cards on all tables have been discarded).
Periodically, other “mystical” software events occur with tables:
- If you are moved to a different table in a tournament, the old table may close and a new one may not open.
- The final of a tournament from which you were eliminated a couple of hours ago may suddenly open up – are they making fun of you or something?!
It is worth noting that all these problems were observed during a kind of stress test with cash tables opening simultaneously with tournaments. Later, during the game in 1-2 MTTs, there were no crashes or freezes. However, tables painfully reminiscent of the tournament from which you were eliminated still appeared a couple of times.
If you leave these problems with windows out of the equation, the application works stably. Buttons are pressed the first time, information in the lobby is updated quickly, there was not a single disconnection during the test drive. But if a connection problem arises, it is possible to check the ping and connect to another server without leaving the table.

To get to this menu, you need to click on the button next to the cross that closes the table.
Withdrawal of Funds From QQPoker
QQPoker operates a "turnover" rule: only the amount of the deposit that was used in the game is available for cashout. This includes tournament buy-ins and money deposited into the pot in cash. The available amount can be found on the withdrawal screen by clicking on the Info icon next to Withdrawal amount.

Withdrawal methods are the same as for deposit. To request a cashout, you must first save the wallet in the list of addresses.

If you don't use USDT, our support will help you figure out how to withdraw money .
Conclusions for Our Review of QQPoker
Our impressions:
- Registration and verification are good. The registration process is simple, and you don't have to verify your identity to play.
- Payments are fine. If you don't live in Asia, you only have one method available – USDT. But the automatic 1% bonus covers the transfer fee.
- Bonuses and promotions are bad. The loyalty program does not offer rakeback, the list of promotions includes only a bad beat jackpot.
- Software is bad. If the developers fix multi-tabling and make the player icons at the table 1.5 times bigger (so that everything is easy to read), the rating will be "good". But for now, the number of surprises per hour of play is too high.
- The field is excellent. A good balance of regulars and amateurs, many weak opponents from China and Southeast Asia.
- Traffic is bad. In cash, even at peak, the number of players does not exceed 250-300 and 50-60 at certain limits. In MTT, AFS is 200-300 players.
- Rakeback is normal. There is no rakeback in the app itself, but registering with GipsyTeam gives you 40% Net Rake.
The main thing that makes QQPoker memorable is its lineups. The traffic here is low compared to Eurorooms or unions in PPPoker, but the ratio of amateurs to regulars makes you remember the times of applications seven years ago. At limits up to NL100, almost any table will do, even if you are inclined to strict table selection. And if you play NL2-NL10, want to get going with a small deposit and are ready to tolerate inconveniences with the software, QQPoker is a great choice.
MTT players will find good reasons to take a closer look at QQpoker: 9-max tables, impressive overlays, low AFS and additional prizes that are given simply for not busting out yet. However, the technical state of the application poses a kind of dilemma: wait until everything is fixed, but the conditions will obviously get worse.
Perhaps the client's stability is affected by the Internet connection, computer hardware, and OS configuration. You can try playing for a couple of days without high expectations, and if everything goes well, consider QQPoker as a backup room with a very pleasant field.
