Marcelo Souza is 37 years old and is one of the most respected figures in the Brazilian poker communication area. He has been playing poker for 17 years and writing for 15, serving as the editor of Card Player Brazil magazine. He was also the president of the FMTH (Minas Gerais Federation of Texas Hold’em) between 2019 and 2022, being one of the people responsible for restructuring the Minas Gerais Poker Championship. He stepped down from the position after moving to another state. He has worked on major tournament coverage in Brazil and around the world, including the BSOP and the WSOP. Among the legends he has interviewed are names such as: Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Daniel Cates, Fedor Holz, André Akkari, Yuri Dzivielevski, among others.
