From April 19th to April 28th, the WPT Global will host the Warm Up tournament festival with a prize pool of $2,500,000.

The schedule includes 154 tournaments in hold'em and short deck with buy-ins starting from $5.50, with the most notable ones taking place on Sundays:

  • 20:00 GMT — $110 Sunday Slam $90,000 GTD
  • 20:10 GMT — $330 Grand Slam $60,000 GTD
  • 20:20 GMT — $11 Mini Slam with $13,500 GTD

The Warm Up Championship tournament with a $220 buy-in will offer the biggest prize pool of $300,000. Players can enter through multiple flights starting from the beginning of the series, and the final day will be held on April 28th at 16:00 GMT.

For players with more modest bankrolls, a mini-version of the tournament is planned with a $22 buy-in and an $80,000 guarantee. Day 2 will take place on April 27th at 15:00 GMT.

Prizes are prepared for the winners of each tournament:

  • Double buy-in refund. Paid out in tickets to the Spring Festival
  • Freeroll ticket for champions. The winner will receive a $12,400 package for the same series, while the second and third-place finishers will receive $1,000 tickets each.

Making it to any final table grants a ticket to the Second Chance freeroll, which will take place after the end of the series: the winner will receive all buy-ins back (ranging from $1,000 to $5,000), while 2nd and 3rd place will receive 500 tickets each for the Spring Festival.

The festival's results count towards the annual Player of The Year leaderboard.
