Mixed game specialist Scott Bohlman won Event #17 – $2,000 NLH for $436,044.

– It feels great. This is my first win in a kilopole of hold'em in 25 years.
Thanks in large part to Scott, Evgengoden is currently leading our fantasy. He is the only one of the top 10 who has taken Bolman to his team. The leader of all fantasy points, Benny Glazer, is on only two teams in the top ten.
Scott beat Dusty Smith heads-up ($290,588), and a couple of days later, this lady won the $3,000 buy-in ladies' tournament at the Wynn Casino. This is a record buy-in in the history of ladies' tournaments, with 76 entries.

Event #18 – 10,000 Dealers Choice saw Ryan Hoenig win his first bracelet ($354,444).

– "Crazy. Exhausting. So exhilarating, so fun. I just love these games. I love to play. It’s incredible. I felt in my element. I just like the variety of the games. I’m excited to play every single game. Last year I skipped this event, actually, because I was a little unsure of some of the games. And this year, I was like, I’m ready for every game. The competition is incredible. Dylan is an incredible competitor. It went quick because I hit every hand, so that helps."
Adam Friedman, who won this tournament three times in a row, took 7th place.
The 6th place went to the famous scammer Brandon Cantu. A couple of days before the tournament, Jungleman posted on Twitter that Cantu was not paying off his long-standing debt to Mercier :
– As Brandon is requested, here I am letting the poker world know his intention of theft.
This is re Brandon Cantu on paying Jason Mercier when Jason did him a favor.

In a private message, Cantu warned Cates that he would never pay the debt as long as he lives.

However, after the publication, Brandon changed the tone of communication a little :
– "Niiiice Dan, you caught me rage baiting you. If Jason Mercier has a problem with it he can comment here and let me know he isn’t happy?
I’ve told him I will pay him back. Thanks gossip girl. 😘"

Michael Lavin won the $1,500 shootout.

For winning the tournament, he received $267,373, and another $1 million was paid to him by the ClubWPT Gold room in the promotion we talked about in the last review.
Tickets were raffled off on social networks and in various online tournaments. Lavin earned his in a 2,800-person freeroll.
– "It’s still overwhelming. It’s very difficult to be happy with poker when you play professionally. You lose a lot. To win feels f*****g awesome. I’m still processing it all.
“It’s funny that ClubWPTGold gives a million for winning the WSOP, and the WSOP doesn’t give anything for winning the Player of the Year race,” Shaun Deeb said as he assessed the promotion.
Third place went to Triton regular and fantasy player Punnath Poonsri ($130,560).
Event #22 – $25,000 6-Max High Roller was won by Slovenian Blaz “Scarmak3r” Žerjav ($1,734,717).

The list of finalists turned out to be very representative.

In the 4-max tournament, an episode occurred that was vaguely reminiscent of the situation that recently occurred in Monte Carlo between Alexander Shevlyakov and Jamil Vakil.

Murman opened with , Bleznik 3-bet with 1.5 million. Zheryav c thought about it and announced a bet of 1.3 million.
“There was already a bet of 1.5 million,” the dealer pointed out.
“What does this mean?” the Slovenian did not understand.
He was given a call.
On the flop, Bleznik bet 1.2 million, Zherjav called, on the turn, Jared check-called a bet of 1.5 million, and on the river, he folded to all-in.
– Sorry, buddy, I wanted to bet 3.3 million, I don’t know why I said 1.3 million.
– This is the strangest hand in my life.
– I even collected the correct chips for the raise, but for some reason I said 1.3 million. It’s simply inexplicable.
PokerGo commentators Brent Hanks and Jeff Platt admitted the possibility of foul play, for which they were harshly criticized on social media.
Bleznik was eliminated 3rd with kings against Murman's 65s.

“Legend versus scammer, what a fair turn,” Sam Greenwood rejoiced at the outcome of the hand.
Murman entered heads-up play against Blaz with 131 blinds to 36, but lost two all-ins in a row (with against and with against AQs), after which the Slovenian quickly won.
There is another $25k buy-in tournament going on these days. Anatoly Nikitin is leading the top 18.

Players made 392 entries, a World Series of High Roller record. 40 people entered at the very last moment, when the starting stack was 12.5 blinds. Because of this, the organizers had to do a full redraw of 158 players.

The winner will receive $1,949,044.
Xixiang Luo won Event #24 – PLO Double Board Bomb Pot ($290,400).

In these tournaments there is no preflop betting. Each player places an ante, two flops are dealt, and then the game proceeds as usual.
At the last World Series, this tournament was held in a mix of NLH/PLO, then Xixiang Luo also won, he also won another bracelet in HORSE for $25k.
– "This game is new. Very, very fun,” he said after the win. “Mixed games are better for me. Hold’em is okay, but too many players."
Nick Guagenti won the $10,000 Stud Championship for $295,008.

The heads-up with Chino Rheem lasted almost five hours. Chino started as a confident chip leader, at some point Nick was on the verge of elimination, but with his last card he found a saving flush.
On the second day of the tournament, Gus Hansen and Dmitry Urbanovich played a unique pot for the stud – they split, showing completely identical flushes.

🤯 HAVE YOU EVER IN YOUR LIFE SEEN A STUD HAND END LIKE THIS?!

Don't worry – most of the table in the @WSOP $10K Seven Card Stud Championship hasn't seen it either... 😅

“I’ve never seen anything like it,” said the experienced Nick Shulman. “It’s really cool.”
Dmitry was eliminated in the early cashes in 17th place.

Last night, in the midst of the WSOP tournaments, a murder took place on live TV near the Bellagio casino. YouTuber Sin City Manny shot and killed streamer Finny da Legend and his wife, who were broadcasting live at the time, right next to the famous fountains. The stream was stopped by a police officer who was one of the first to arrive at the scene.
Reddit users wrote that the conflict between the killer and his victim began about two years ago and has escalated into open hostility over the past six months.
The gunman has not been apprehended at this time. Las Vegas police are searching for the shooter and his wife.
