I’m a Canadian writer and poker player who now lives in Vietnam (and desperately misses live cash games). Before flying to warmer parts of the world, I regularly played in live cash games around Vancouver, up to $2/$5 stakes. For whatever reason, Vietnam allows tournaments, yet forbids cash games. Online poker, APT tours, and local tournaments of dubious legality are the only options here. Although I’ve picked up several small live MTT wins, it’s much safer to play in North America or Europe.
When I’m not considering laying down the second nuts in an online PLO cash game, I’m writing in several different niches. I’m very proud to be part of GipsyTeam, which has successfully reached from Russia and Brazil, over to the English-speaking market. For a content writer, it’s the equivalent of hitting top set on a rainbow board. Rather than pushing random rooms and suspect sites, GipsyTeam’s integrity has always been their most attractive quality to me.
I split my time between poker content and many other niches. I’ve written about everything from real estate to machine learning and constantly seek to expand my reach.
