Joey Ingram

Omaha's most famous poker blogger, interviewer and populariser

While Joe Ingram may not be at the top of the tournament or cash game money charts, he's a familiar face to almost every poker fan. Almost every star of modern poker, from Daniel Negreanu and Phil Ivey to Fedor Holz, has been on the Poker Life Podcast and joeingram1 Youtube channel.

As well as his professional and energetic interviews, Joe is remembered for his colourful retelling of hands, as well as his investigations into Michael Postle's fraudulent activities. The latter earned him two Global Poker Awards for Journalist of the Year and Best Media Content Creator. But the most popular video on his channel, with 24 million views, relates to Ingram's other passion, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighting.

Famous quotes

Don't be an asshole towards the obvious newcomers. If you see that someone is brand new to poker, help them out and try to make them feel comfortable at the table. Instead of making him feel like an idiot.

Hopefully, as an older version of myself, I'll be more careful about my relationship choices and spend more time with my loved ones. Living honestly with myself and others. Take care of my body, mind and financial health. Become more selfless.

In my younger years, I believed that the only way to be successful in life and in poker was to be selfish, focusing all my attention on poker. Playing and becoming successful was all I wanted to do. Now I think that if I had approached the game smarter, I would have achieved better results.
