The schedule for the world's most prestigious live poker festival, the World Series of Poker Las Vegas, has been announced.
Here are the main points:
- 100 Events
- Buy-Ins from $300 to $250,000
- May 26 to July 15
- Held at the Horseshoe and Paris Casinos
Ty Stewart, CEO of the WSOP, said:
"As we saw in 2025, thousands of incredible stories are waiting to be told at the World Series of Poker. We’re more committed than ever to being poker’s unquestioned biggest stage and to shining a brighter spotlight on our favorite game."
Jack Effel, Senior Vice President of Poker Operations at Caesars Entertainment, added:
“Our favorite time of year is around the corner, and we cannot wait to once again welcome the poker world back to the Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas. This summer's World Series of Poker promises more action and more opportunities to play your favorite events than ever before, from the first ‘Shuffle Up and Deal!’ to the crowning of the Main Event champion.”
And seven-time bracelet winner Daniel Negreanu said to players, “take your shot at the gold in 2026.” GGPoker’s WSOP Express satellites will allow players to enter the real events, for far less.

What's New at WSOP 2026? Events, Parallel rings, and Daily Live Streams
As usual, each edition features new events, and this edition highlights Event #1 Mini Mystery Millions, which will have a buy-in of $550, six starting days, and a maximum bounty of $1 million. Events that will not return in 2026 include the Lucky 7's ($777), the Shootout ($1,500), the Limit Hold'em ($3,000), and the Poker Hall of Fame Bounty ($1,979 buy-in).
For the first time, a WSOP Circuit stop in Las Vegas will run concurrently with the WSOP from July 14-25, giving players the chance to win rings and bracelets on the same day. The WSOP Circuit schedule has not yet been announced but will be available on the WSOP+ app.
Another new feature this year is the daily live stream on the WSOP YouTube channel, from May 26th until the start of the Main Event on July 2nd. The set will be located at Casino Paris and will feature well-known commentators.
Main Event Info & Schedule
The festival's main event kicks off on July 2nd with its traditional $10,000 entry fee and will feature four initial days. As with last year, registration will open at the start of Days 2ABC and 2D. The 2025 edition had 9,735 players and became the third largest in history after the 2024 (10,112) and 2023 (10,043) editions. The prize pool was $90.5 million and was distributed among the top 1,462 participants.
After 30 years, a woman reached the finals thanks to Spain's Leo Margets, who finished seventh and took home $1.5 million. Michael Mizrachi, fresh off his historic fourth Poker Players Championship $50,000 victory, started the final table second in chips and miraculously doubled up with seven players remaining by hitting an ace on the river. After that hand, he began to build his stack and finished Day 9 with 76% of the chips in play.
Mizrachi continued his dominance of the tournament and in less than an hour of Day 10, he was crowned champion, winning $10 million and the eighth bracelet of his successful career. As the first player to win both the PPC and the Main Event in the same year, he was spontaneously inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame.

Pro Players Reactions to the WSOP 2026 Schedule
Several players shared their opinions on the 2026 WSOP schedule, including CoinPoker's English ambassador Patrick Leonard: “Looks amazing, great job everybody involved! It’s a more “expensive” series than ever with more starting days and reentries. Tournaments will be a lot tougher deep but for those who want to blast, there’s more opportunity than ever. There’s going to be recordsize fields all over.”
Spanish player Adrián Mateos called for more High Roller tournaments: “I think is a big lack of high stakes NLH during the middle of the series.
From 17th June until Main Event start 2nd July there is not any single NLH of 10k buy in or over. I think 15 days without these events is too much and demand of these events is clear.”
Daniel Negreanu said he'll be playing in 40 events: 17 NLH, 15 Mixed Games, and 8 PLO. His most expensive tournament will be the $250K Super High Roller, and his least expensive will be the $300 Gladiators. His vlogs will likely return, as they have in recent years.
