Sports betting sites often open poker rooms under their own brand to attract new customers. 1win is no exception—poker first appeared there back in 2016. However, it didn’t generate much interest among professionals: there were few games, the software wasn’t known for its convenience, and there were no generous bonuses.

In 2024, the company’s strategy changed. A decent budget was allocated for poker marketing, the client was updated to modern standards, and the first regulars began appearing at the tables. Reviews after the relaunch were mixed:

— "The player pool is okay, soft, not many games. Doesn’t feel like there are bots. The software is generally fine, but sometimes when you leave a table the money doesn’t return to the cashier. Cashouts are okay."

— "I played on 1win for a month. I’ll share the pros and cons:

Pros of 1win Poker:

  • The field at low stakes is good, sometimes casino guys wander into NL100–200.
  • The loyalty program isn’t bad—you can get decent rakeback.
  • There are weekly and monthly freerolls, if that’s your thing.

Cons of 1win Poker:

  • The client is still unstable, money often freezes, and sometimes you just can’t play for a whole day while they fix something. Internal stats are displayed very clumsily.
  • The 20bb buy-in—many amateurs don’t realize they can buy in for the full stack, so you often only win 20bb. Plus there are short stacks.
  • Not many games: usually 2–3 tables of NL20–50, and one table of NL100.

— "The game is fun. The 20bb buy-in or more attracts a lot of amateurs. There are no stats, but it feels like the regs aren’t far behind. Great rakeback! Crypto deposits and withdrawals are fine. On the downside, the software needs improvement—multi-tabling takes a lot of concentration."

— "The software is good, only missing a limit filter. The player pool is solid, but the 20bb buy-in is a downside. Action is mainly in the daytime and evening time. Good rakeback system."

— "Works as an extra room. There’s not always a game. Seems like there are more regs than three weeks ago when I signed up—queues of four players. The software is inconvenient."

— "High-stakes games are rare, but when they do happen, the lineups are excellent."

Complaints about the security team stood out: on the first withdrawal, accounts were often frozen for additional verification, and email responses were not always timely.

We decided to check how accurate these reviews are as of mid-2025. Some issues have clearly been fixed (for example, the minimum buy-in was raised to 40bb), but what’s the room currently doing in terms of player pool, software, and withdrawals? We took it for a test drive to answer the most important questions.

Registering on 1win Poker

Registration is standard and takes just a few minutes; you can either log in through social networks or create an account using your phone and email.

If you use the GTpoker code, you’ll be able to take part in our races, freerolls, and other exclusive promotions.

4.3
1Win Poker is a small poker room operating under a well-known bookmaker, primarily catering to casual players. The majority of the traffic consists of low-stakes Texas Hold’em cash games. Other poker formats are mainly active during peak hours.
Promo code GT

We found the first software flaws at this stage. If you lose access and want to reset your password, you won’t be able to do it through the client—it gives an error. However, everything works fine through the browser.

After creating an account, you need to specify the main currency for the account. For poker, be sure to select dollars (USD). After that, you can top up your account with crypto or any other convenient method. If you open an account in USDT right away, it will be linked to the casino and you won’t be able to play poker.

You can sit at the tables and start playing without verification. Formally, it isn’t required for withdrawals, but in practice, you will most likely need to complete it (see below).

Depositing on 1win Poker

You can access the cashier via both the client and the browser, but you can only top up your account through the browser. The client only shows your balance and the amount of money at the tables.

Topping up your account is easy. Available options depend on the IP address you use to access the site—a local payment method may appear. Russian cards, SBP, T-Pay, cryptocurrencies, and several other systems are available for Russian IPs. From Thailand, you can only top up your account using crypto. There are no P2P transfers between players in the room.

Cryptocurrency is the recommended method. Payments through wallets may be unstable, which is clearly stated by a warning sign in the cashier. Still, the SBP deposit worked smoothly during our test—the money arrived in just one and a half minutes. The conversion rate into dollars was even slightly better than the official exchange rate.

There are apparently no maximums for many locations with crypto, but here are the current deposit minimums:

1win Software and Ease of Play

The room client and gaming tables are presented in dark tones by default. You can add colors to the palette in the settings – there you can also enable other functions, for example, transfer the stack to big blinds or turn off the animation of chips and cards.

There is no limit filter in the cash lobby: tables need to be searched manually or sorted from cheap to expensive. There is a buy-in search, which does not work optimally – after selecting the desired range, unnecessary tables still end up in the list.

To sit down at the table, just click on the buy-in button. A seat will be automatically reserved for you. In the settings, you can activate a buy-in of up to 100 bb in advance. Here we noticed another roughness: it was not always possible to get on the waiting list on the first try, sometimes an error message would pop up.

When playing on one or two tables, the software works without issues. When multi-tabling (three or more windows), problems start to appear:

  • After opening a new table, the client may freeze, and the 10 seconds allotted to take a seat might not be enough.
  • Preflop cards are dealt with a delay.
  • Opponent stats only appear after a second click.

The multi-tabling functionality is inconvenient. There are two layout options: mosaic or cascade. In practice, the tables can overlap and need to be adjusted manually. There are also issues in the cashier: after a sitout, money does not immediately show on your balance. The only way to fix it is by restarting the client, which causes you to leave all active tables.

Before making a deposit on the site, it is worth ending the current session in the client: if you log in at the same time, the software may freeze

The lobby in the room is not anonymous, but this does not interfere with selection: you can evaluate the composition and dynamics without sitting at the table. Once you sit down, the BB waiting option is enabled by default.

Clicking on the opponent's nickname opens a HUD with the main indicators: VPIP, PFR, ATS and other stats. In the same window, you can mark the opponent as an amateur or a regular and write down notes.

Third-party software is prohibited in the room, but with the help of a converter you can upload your hand history to the tracker.

If you want, you can throw a tomato at your opponent, and if he takes too long to make a decision, you can use the time bank. There is time to think, you are given 30 seconds to make a move.

What to Play on 1win: Cash Games

In the cash tab, you can find tables for Hold'em and Omaha. There is classic Omaha, as well as five- or six-card versions and PLO8. Most of the action is concentrated at NL and PLO mid-stakes tables. Higher-stakes games are rare—on Friday evening, one player was sitting alone at two high-stakes tables. On an average evening in Moscow, there are 350 to 400 people in the lobby. NL2–NL10 tables fill in less than a minute.

At NL25, there are usually two short-handed tables available on weekday evenings. Higher stakes games typically gather on Friday nights and weekends, with up to five active tables at NL50–100. Tables go up to NL5,000 in the lobby, but those limits are often empty.

You can sort tables using filters

About 40% of all site visitors play with short stacks. Three people with the minimum buy-in sat down at an empty NL2 table in a couple of minutes. Popular formats that are unheard of among competitors: there were no free seats for a very long time at the No Blinds tables at the NL2 and NL10 limits. Instead of blinds, they take antes: everyone adds 0.5 bb preflop, the player on the button bets the same amount on top.

Omaha is slightly less popular than Hold'em. During the two-day test drive, there were consistently three full tables of PLO2–PLO30 and the same number of Hi-Lo games running in the lobby.

Tables with a chance to hit the bad beat jackpot are marked with a JP icon. These fill up slightly faster than the regular ones.

Tables with bomb pots are marked in red in the lobby. A bomb pot is played every eight hands: all players post 1 bb and are taken directly to the flop, after which play continues under standard rules.

The lineups at NL5 and NL10 were a pleasant surprise. The skill level of opponents was equally low at both limits, though players at NL5 more often entered with incomplete stacks.

Overall, the field turned out to be quite passive. Local amateurs are characterized by high VPIP, frequent limps, and calling even large bets, leading to many multiway pots. In one NL10 hand, an amateur limped from UTG, followed by two more limps. After a raise to 7.5 bb, nobody folded.

What stood out most was:

  • Low 3-bet percentage
  • High limp-push percentage (when no other players limped)
  • Frequent donk folds (!) on the turn

Some reviews mention bots with nearly identical nicknames, stats, and draw patterns. We didn’t encounter them, but they apparently still appear in games—counterstrategies have already been shared on the forums (details can be found in the AlwaysRaiseRiver blog).

Exploit 1: Extending the 3-bet.

Bots open very wide, and only MP defends decently, so it's super plus to put pressure on overfold. Even considering the wide 4b with MP, the solver suggests expanding 3b linearly. MP vs KO 3b 14.5 instead of 11, we add more pockets and Ax. MP vs BTN is more fun, we 3bet 19.5 instead of 12. We add even more linear 3bets with kickers.

From the blinds of the vs MP we also expand to 14.5%, we simply 3-bet linearly, the only difference is that without a pose we raise less off-suit hands, since their playability in the branch through a call is better.

Fast Fold Cash Games

After leaving the regular Hold'em and Hi-Lo tables, we encountered a bug that is often found in reviews: we couldn't sit down at the NL10 zoom table anymore, the cashier treacherously showed a lack of funds. The problem was solved only by rebooting the client.

True, it didn't help to enjoy fast poker – after sitting down at the table, we didn't manage to meet other players (we waited for about 30 minutes). According to our scouts' measurements, the game in the room is not really going to be at NL10 or NL30 (there are no other limits).

Tournaments (MTT)

The MTT tab is conveniently made, you can quickly find the desired tournament format, sort by start time, buy-in and type.

The tournament schedule is solid: there are freezeouts, knockouts, rebuys with add-ons, and freerolls. The room is primarily suited for low-stakes players—in the past three weeks, only three tournaments cost more than $55. In total, about 30 tournaments ranging from $0.11 to $55 are held daily, mostly in turbo format. The vast majority are short-handed. There is also a lesser-known format not shown in the search filters—winner-take-all tournaments.

The compositions at the tables will pleasantly surprise even those accustomed to wild draws at micro limits in other rooms: the ranges are extremely wide, the lines are very far from common sense. We agree with the review of Alexander rocknrolla , who recently became the ambassador of the room:

The tournaments have huge overlays all the time and super-weak lineups, regulars seem to be absent as a class. MTT fans should definitely be happy.

Late registration lasts on average from an hour to an hour and a half. There are also freerolls – but you won't be able to register for them immediately after creating an account.

To participate in one, you need to reach the Gold level in the loyalty program, for the other, you will need at least Bronze

SnG and Spins

While most poker rooms offer SnG for only six players, here heads-ups in turbo format have been added to 6-max. 6-max are held in hyper-turbo mode. The buy-in range is modest – $1.1, $2.2 and $3.3.

In 6-max tournaments there are 2 prize places. The winner takes 65% of the prize money, the runner-up gets 35%.

Spins in the room are only in the 3-max format. There are tournaments for $0.25, $0.50, $2 and $3, the most expensive is $5. You can open a maximum of 5 tables at a time. The structure in all tournaments is the same, the levels increase every 5 minutes.

During the test drive, I managed to play about 15 tournaments for $0.25 and hit the increased multiplier twice. The level of opponents was a pleasant surprise – some players preferred to push in the first hand on any two, and especially loose characters opened on the river with J-high.

The opponent entered the hand with a limp, called a raise, paid three streets and sat out.

Hand History and Hand Analysis

You can view the played hands in the tab "My games" – "Results". The interface is not obvious: to go to the hands from a certain table, you need to tick it and click "Show hands"; a window with a replayer will open.

You can also request distributions from the support service by writing to support@1win.social the required time period or table numbers. The files will be sent to the email address linked to your account.

In the adjacent tab, you can see your statistics and deviation from optimal values. By default, hands from all disciplines are included – to see the frequency of continuation bets separately in the cash games, you need to use filters.

Hand history can be saved to the computer. It is done conveniently – files are saved in txt format.

There is no need to save each session separately – documents are automatically added to the folder.

Trackers in the room do not work, but you can transfer hands to PT4, HM3, H2N3 and H2N4 using the KingsHands converter. It is not officially supported, but there were no problems with loading.

Rake and Loyalty Program

The rake in cash games is the standard 5% with a $4 cap. The fee is charged on hands that reach the flop (and, of course, in all-ins preflop). Jackpot tables charge 1% more.

In tournaments and SnGs, about 10% is retained. The exact number can be found in the lobby.

You can get back up to 50% of the rake paid. There are 7 levels in total:

LevelRakeback size
Player15%
Bronze20%
Silver25%
Gold30%
Platinum35%
Elite40%
Diamond50%

The status is determined by the number of points. For $1 of commission you get 1 point. For example, to get 40% rakeback, you need to earn $3,500 in rake per year.

VIP status is valid for a year and is reset on September 1. Important: the loyalty program does not apply to MTT.

Promotions at 1win

There is no welcome bonus for poker players in the room, and there are no promo codes for poker either. The advertising at the bottom of the registration form may be misleading, but it only concerns slots. At the same time, 1win has two ongoing promotions.

Bad Beat Jackpot . No different from the jackpot in other rooms. In Hold'em, you need to lose a hand with a full house of at least aces and tens, in Omaha – with a quad of deuces. The prize money is distributed as follows:

Loser35%
Winner15%
Other players15% on all
To the jackpot fund35%

Royal Flush Prizes . This promotion is only available in Hold'em Cash Games. Payouts vary depending on the stakes played, from $100 at NL2 and up. You must use both pocket cards and reach showdown to receive them. If you are lucky, send the hand number and table name to the room's support team.

Withdrawals at 1win

The minimum cashout amount is $25 per card and ~$40 per phone number. The lower limit for cryptocurrencies depends on the specific network. For USDT (TRC20, ERC20 and BEP20) — cashout is available from $15, and deposit — from $1 in the BEP20 network, $25 in ERC20 and $5 in TRC20.

Cashout can be done on USDT, it is better to make a deposit through a network with a minimum commission. Recently, the room added deposits via USDT (TON) from $1 and withdrawals from $10.

You can withdraw money to a different location than where you made your deposit. The website says that funds are credited to your account within 48 hours. During our test, everything happened much faster – after 15 minutes we saw a notification from the bank about the receipt of funds.

Important: after the first cashout, the account can be frozen. This happens automatically and, judging by the reviews, quite often: access to the account is preserved, but you cannot sit at the table and play. Do not worry, just write to the room's support service and, possibly, pass verification – the money will be withdrawn. After repeated cashouts, this no longer happens.

What's Our Final Review of Poker at 1win?

Most of the reviews about the room were confirmed, both positive and negative: the software leaves much to be desired, but for the sake of good compositions at micro limits it is worth it. General impressions:

  • Registration and verification are excellent: It took a couple of minutes to create an account.
  • Payments are great: You can top up your balance from a card and via SBP, the money arrived in 15 minutes after cashout. There are no additional fees.
  • Bonuses and promotions are bad: No first deposit bonus, only payouts for bad beat jackpot or royal flush.
  • Software is bad: The client freezes when multi-tabling, the balance often gives an error after a sitout.
  • The field is excellent: There are plenty of weak amateurs in all disciplines, especially up to NL50.
  • Traffic is weak: During peak hours, up to 500 people gather in the lobby, expensive tables are rare. At the same time, you can find a cheap game at almost any time of the day.
  • Rakeback is good: With active grinding you can return up to 50% of the commission.
