Stake Poker has announced a game client update scheduled for March 5. The main innovation will be the introduction of cash tables and tournaments in fast-fold poker format.
The rules are similar to fast-fold poker in other poker rooms: you can fold your hole cards before your turn comes, move to the next table, and start a new hand.
There will be five limits (minimum buy-in 100 BB):
- $0.01/$0.02
- $0.02/$0.04
- $0.05/$0.10
- $0.10/$0.20
- $0.25/$0.50
To celebrate the launch, cash drops ranging from 3-100 big blinds of the limit will be awarded at "Next!" tables. The promotion will continue until the full $1,000,000 prize pool is distributed.
Fast-fold poker tournaments will also be launched with buy-ins ranging from $0.01 to $20 (all feature knockout rewards, except for the freeroll).
