WPT Global has announced a new WPT Asia Overdrive series. The event will take place from July 19 to August 30, with a total guarantee of over ¥200,000,000. An additional ¥4,100,000 will be distributed in daily missions and weekly leaderboards.
13 WPT Rings will be awarded during the series tournaments. 7 rings will be awarded in Overdrive tournaments.

Leaderboards
Starting July 19, weekly leaderboards will be held. During the first 4 weeks, ¥300,000 will be awarded each week; during the final two weeks, ¥400,000 will be awarded. The scoring period runs from 00:00 GMT Monday untiltil 23:59 GMT the following Sunday.

Early Bird & Bubble Points – additional points can be earned for early registration in tournaments as well as for busting during the Bubble stage. The number of points earned depends on the tournament tier.

Daily Missions
There will be 3 main types of missions:
- Deposit missions
- Designated tournament missions
- Casino wagering missions
By completing missions, the player will receive tickets to hourly All-In Flip tournaments, from which they can qualify for the Daily Final. These will take place daily at 22:30 GMT, with a guarantee of ¥50,000 in each tournament.
