GGPoker has announced a change to its loyalty program: on January 30, the current Fish Buffet will be replaced by Ocean Rewards with rakeback of up to 80% (previously up to 60%).
The program features 8 levels, which increase when reaching a required number of Tide Points (TP), with 100 TP awarded for every $1 in rake. There are no longer intermediate levels (there used to be three per level).
At the first level, rakeback is 24%.
In addition, players earn GEMs while playing, which can be exchanged for cash rewards in the client (details have not yet been announced). The higher the reward, the more favorable the exchange rate.
When switching to Ocean Rewards, all players’ statuses will be upgraded to the next level, and Fish Points will be converted into Tide Points. Each status is retained until the end of the current year. If the required number of points to keep the status is not reached, it will be downgraded to the previous level.
