The December 2023 update of the RedStar Poker client brought many changes. Mainly, they affect the design and layout. Let's figure out what the poker room software looks like now and what other new changes were added.
Red Star Poker HUD Update
The heads-up display, which shows statistics on opponents, has been significantly improved in the December 2023 Red Star Poker update:
- VPIP and aggression indicators in the table widget are displayed in a larger font.
- In a pop-up window with information, colored reminders will display a player’s category (for example, Maniac – high VPIP or Aggressive – high PFR).
- Changed colors of inscriptions for better readability and contrast.
- Tips have been added to the statistics abbreviations at the bottom of the HUD.
- In the upper left corner of the HUD, there is a link to the settings section with detailed information about the methods used for calculating a particular indicator.
The Table Decoration Changes
In the recent update, functional buttons have appeared in the upper left corner of the window:
- A drop-down menu that allows you to go to the main lobby, client settings, or help menu in one click (and also add a new cash table).
- Direct tournament lobby link.
- Hand history.
- Purchase additional chips or rebuy/add-on (depending on the game format).
- Quick deposit.
The close table button has moved to the lower left corner of the window.
Now you can choose from two options for displaying chips – Classic and Modern.
The time bank is now displayed from the beginning of the turn (previously – after the main time expires). This option is enabled in the settings.
