Final Results, Top Performers, and Week by Week Breakdown

The 2025 High Stakes Cash Game World Championship concluded on December 7 after four weeks of intense NL10K action. Close to 100 players entered the arena, creating one of the most competitive seasons in the event’s history. Across the month, nearly eighty thousand hands were played by some grinders, while others took only brief shots at the highest stakes available on the platform.

  • First Place: Biluzin – $369,225.80 $ EV Won
This player closed the series with a decisive finish. He posted $369,225.80 in EV, won $359,529.86 in cash results, and generated 9.78 EV BB per 100 over 37,754 hands. Biluzin is a long standing NL5K and NL10K regular known for a disciplined, analytical approach to high stakes cash games.
  • Second Place: TaxHere – $349,030.99 $ EV Won
TaxHere finished second with $349,030.99 in EV over 60,912 hands, the second highest volume in the entire event. He combined consistency with durability, logging long sessions that kept him near the top throughout most of the CGWC.
  • Third Place: PR0DIGY – $341,874.34 $ EV Won
In third, PR0DIGY once again showed why he is considered one of the most reliable high stakes performers online. His technical precision produced 9.84 EV BB per 100, the highest win rate among the top five. Although a second Cash Game World Championship win would have been magical, third is still a huge feat.
  • Fourth Place: Jasamgale – $141,514.21 $ EV Won
Fourth place went to Croatian pro jasamgale, who posted $141,514.21 in EV with a 4.54 EV BB per 100 win rate across 31,179 hands. Jasamgale is well known in the high stakes community, but not a public figure, unless you consider 2+2 to be "public."
  • Fifth Place: DavyJones922 – $137,043.99 $ EV Won
Rounding out the top five was long time frontrunner DavyJones922, who held the lead at various points early in the event before being surpassed in the final week. He finished with $137,043.99 in EV and played 32,791 hands. For many, Davy was sure to win, after a super-dominant first three weeks.

These five shaped the direction of the championship across each stage of the contest.

Below, you can see the largest wins and losses in terms of $ EV. We see that PR0DIGY, DavyJones922 and other players did well, but TaxHere had three massive days with six-figure bumps.

On the other hand, LLinusLLove topped the other chart, which isn't a chart you want to top.

Let's see what happened each week in the Cash Game World Championship.

Week 1: Early Pace Setters & First Breakaway Group

Week 1 established the core dynamics of the challenge. Nearly all high volume regulars entered lineups aggressively, creating long peak hour sessions and a fast moving initial leaderboard. The early standout was Roberto Perez, aka DavyJones922. His blend of solid fundamentals and high volume immediately separated him from the pack. He posted several positive sessions and built a lead that held through most of the week.

This is no surprise if you know DavyJones922. We translated his Spanish interview a while back, and it was clear that he's a pro's pro, made of elite materials through and through.

In a monumental interview, Roberto Perez talked about top-reg battles at the highest limits, praised Linus, sympathized with Stefan, revealed the secret of eternal love for the game and, along the way, explained the meaning of life.

LLinusLLove was in the mix too, staying in the middle of the pack, but dropping to the bottom with Riggedeck by the end of week one.

Jasamgale held on to a top ten spot for the entire time.

At this stage, few players were discussing Biluzin as a major contender. His volume was not yet high, and his results, while positive, did not stand out relative to the larger sample sizes logged by others. Week 1 belonged to the early grinders.

By the start of week two, TaxHere and DavyJones922 were far ahead.

Week 2: Volume Rises and the Leaderboard Tightens

Week 2 brought steadier play and clearer trends across the field. Several mid leaderboard players reduced their volume, while the top five pushed harder. The gap between the frontrunners narrowed as more players began matching each other’s hours and improving their game selection. DavyJones922 was way, way ahead, over $100,000 in EV away from TaxHere.

But, this was the week when TaxHere became the clearest threat to the number one position. His consistent EV gains and heavy workload allowed him to climb sharply, going neck and neck with Roberto Perez by the 12th day of the event. Meanwhile, PotBetCat and Jasamgale traded back and forth in third and forth.

But for the first time, signs emerged that the early lead held by DavyJones922 might not remain intact. Even though he was still in the clear by $60K in EV by the end of week two, players like Limitless, TaxHere, PotBetCat, and Biluzin were chasing his heels. He continued to win, but the margins were smaller.

The field began catching up around him.

Week 3: Pressure Increases and Contenders Solidify

Week 3 was defined by pressure and sharper competition. The main contenders began adjusting more quickly to each other, and the swings in the daily EV chart grew more pronounced. TaxHere rose up to DavyJones922, matching his level yet again, and making us wonder who the winner would be in the end. The series still had many days ahead.

By this stage, the championship had clearly become a five player race. The top five remained the same, but their spacing changed. PR0DIGY also inched closer to the top, cracking into the top 10. Biluzin, MrLumberjack, Jasamgale, Limitless, and PotBetCat were all vying for control under TaxHere and DavyJones.

The most notable development was the emergence of real momentum from Biluzin. His win rate climbed significantly, and his EV totals began approaching the leaders. His volume remained moderate, but the quality of his decisions placed him in striking distance.

Week 3 also signaled a slowing trend for DavyJones922, who struggled to maintain his earlier pace and lead.

Final Week: A Tight Finish and a New Champion

The final week produced the closest and most intense stretch of the entire challenge. With only days remaining, three players were in realistic contention: TaxHere, PR0DIGY, and the fast rising Biluzin. The EV margins between them were extremely small, and every session had the potential to shift the top spot.

During the last three days, the lead changed multiple times. PR0DIGY briefly held first place after a strong late surge. TaxHere remained within range by leaning on volume and disciplined execution. However, the decisive factor was the efficiency of Biluzin’s final stretch. His sessions were both profitable and stable, allowing him to take and hold the lead.

Quads are always nice, but especially in a $28K pot

By December 8, the numbers were in. Biluzin's twenty thousand dollar cushion in EV secured the championship, and a Land-Dweller Rolex.

The 2025 High Stakes CGWC ended with a deserving winner and one of the most competitive top fives the series has seen.
