At the end of April and throughout the May holidays, Merit Poker awaits everyone in Northern Cyprus. The massive Merit Royal Diamond hall has already hosted world-class series, including Triton, WSOP, EPT, and MPP events, and will soon host the Carmen Series. The schedule features eleven days of tournaments, combining affordable buy-ins with incredible guarantees.

The organizers guarantee a prize pool of $5,000,000. The most notable event of the series will be the Main Event with a buy-in of $3,500, with at least $3,000,000 up for grabs. The schedule also includes more than twenty tournaments with various formats, from affordable $220 to high-roller $5,400.

The schedule is designed to ensure a different pace every day: fast-paced turbo tournaments alternate with knockouts, deep-stack tournaments with deep structures, and special formats like Double-Flop Omaha and Bomb Pots. There's something for everyone.

You can also qualify for the Carmen Series Main Event online! Satellites are already running on the GGPoker. Tickets are awarded in several steps: $3.3 → $33 → $330 → 3,500 Main Event Seats.

At the event, qualifiers for Day 1 will run every day until May 4 (the final day of Main Event Day 1 events).

Day 2 runs on May 5th, Day 3 on the 6th, and the final day runs on the 7th.

Entering Northern Cyprus

Northern Cyprus welcomes everyone with a 90-day visa on arrival, almost without exception. Players of Syria, Nigeria, and Armenia reportedly must apply for visas ahead of time.

Search for flights to the following destinations:

  • Ercan (ECN) is the nearest airport, 40-60 minutes to the poker room.
  • Larnaca (LCA) is an international airport on the south side of the island, 90-120 minutes from the venue.

Where to Stay During the Carmen Series

The easiest way is to live right on the Merit complex, where the series takes place. Players typically choose:

▪️ Merit Royal Premium is located on the same territory as Diamond, so you can come here with children.

All buildings serve guests at the 5-star Ultra All Inclusive level, located in the same complex, and provide quick access to the poker room.

Another option is the 5-star Merit Park Hotel, also suitable for families with children. The hotel is located nearby, a 10-minute drive away. A free shuttle service will be provided for players during the festival (every hour).

Alternative options can be found on Booking.com or Airbnb.com. There are plenty of decent apartments in the area, so choose according to your taste and budget.
