Phil Hellmuth Pays Tribute to His Father

Hellmuth drops a very personal post, remembering his dad’s support through 34 years of WSOP trips, the 1989 Main Event win, and all of the bracelets. We’re all used to poking fun at Hellmuth for his many Main Event costumes and backing prices on his son, but this is a loss we can all relate to in some way.

One thing’s for sure. Phil made his father a very proud man.

Not many are fond of Nicky Palma, so it might satisfy some to see him lose at trash talking.

Will Givens has some good words for Nicky P in $5K Super Circuit Main Event, leaving one of poker’s loudest mouths pretty quiet for once.

Palma got to 3rd in chips later on though, while Givens busted in 33rd. It’s one of those “won the war but lost the battle” situations.
