On November 5th, the Triton returns to Northern Cyprus: the festival will begin with the relatively affordable Triton One, followed by a series of Super High Rollers on the 15th.
There's a lot going on, so tune in to the broadcasts! And watching the tournaments will be even more exciting with the fantasy draft.
How to Participate
To get into the Triton Fantasy, you'll need to install the Triton Poker Plus app on your phone. It's available for both Android and iOS devices.
- Google Play Store (for Android Devices)
- Apple App Store (for iOS Devices)
After creating an account, you'll automatically be enrolled in the Global League, a shared fantasy draft league. If you've already registered for the app, then there's no need to register again.
Team recruitment will open on November 13. Prizes on Triton One will be available for correct predictions in two tournaments, the Main Event and the High Roller. These prizes do not count toward the Global League leaderboard—the overall standings will begin on November 15, along with the SHR series.
Fantasy Draft Rules
Players who finish in places 1 through 10 receive tournament points.
| Finishing Place | Points Received |
|---|---|
| 1 | 60 |
| 2 | 50 |
| 3 | 40 |
| 4 | 32 |
| 5 | 26 |
| 6 | 22 |
| 7 | 18 |
| 8 | 15 |
| 9 | 12 |
| 10 | 8 |
Since tournament player stacks are not equal after the first day, there are a few restrictions that apply when forming a team.
You can choose:
- One large stack (seats 1-5)
- Any number of medium stacks
- One short stack (places 26-31)
Additional points are awarded for the place a player takes at the end of the tournament:
- 1 point for each position outside of In The Money (ITM)
- 2.5 points for each position In The Money (ITM)
For example, if a hero starts the second day in 31st place and ends up in 20th place without cashing, he will earn the team 11 additional points (31st place – 20th place = 11 places x 1 point = 11 points)
If you wish, you can click the Feeling Lucky button – then the team will be assembled randomly.
Team Captain and Boosters
Each tournament requires one captain and two players to be designated as booster pack recipients. The mechanics work like this:
- A Captain's base points are multiplied by 1.25.
- A Booster is a 2.5x multiplier for points earned for advancing through the ranks. For example, if a player earned 10 points for moving up the standings, with a Booster, they'll immediately receive 25.
Special rules apply to the $200k Invitational, where businessmen and media personalities invite regulars to pair up: Captain's Points are multiplied by 2.00, and Power Picks will be used instead of boosters (mechanics details will be added to the app later).
Global League Prizes
During the Cyprus Fantasy Draft, a shared leaderboard will award two Triton One tournament packages and branded Triton series merch.
Three lucky winners will also have the opportunity to go behind the scenes and spend time with Triton representatives.
Only Triton SHR tournaments count toward the shared leaderboard; Triton One tournaments have their own prize pool.
