Daniel Negreanu is GGPoker’s golden boy, but in a way, also the golden boy of poker. He’s always been respected (apart from the “More Rake is Better” era) and has held on to longevity in the game, like an Erik Seidel type of player.
But he’s mainly known for tournaments, and not cash games. Over $60 million earned, eight WSOP bracelets, a face that appears in some of the best poker clips on YouTube. He won about $3,000,000 in the recent 2026 World Series of Poker and added a bracelet to his collection.
For all his accolades, Negreanu isn’t a cash game player anymore. We know this. Daniel knows this. Apparently, Nik Airball knows it too.

But if the cards don’t go Nik’s way, there’s little doubt in the community about the outcome. Even out of his element and slightly rusty in cash games, Negreanu should be able to run circles around Airball.
But we’re not 100% sure.
Nik is the highest-earning player in Hustler Casino Live history, and has spent more time there than almost any other player.
He’s up over $3.4 million on the show, while maintaining a 45% VPIP.

Daniel Negreanu is down almost $2 million from all of his televised cash game appearances.
This is a rare return to televised cash for the GGPoker ambassador. Airball will either leave with a ton more respect than he had before, or leave looking quite silly.
Let’s look at the other competitors in the seats on August 28th.
Andy Stacks (Andy Tsai)
Andy Stacks is a Taiwanese player, born in Taipei. He became a bit of a star through appearances on Live At The Bike and Hustler Casino Live, and was even present for the Jack 4 hand.
He's also been a GGPoker China ambassador since 2021. He's known for a calm and quiet demeanor, but without a doubt, Andy will be one of Negreanu’s toughest opponents to face on the HCL stream. He’s up about $1.5 million between HCL and Live at the Bike, but only about $320,000 of that was scored on Hustler Casino Live.

He’s taken a bit of a break from Hustler Casino, with no recorded appearances since 2024. But of course, Daniel Negreanu is a very good reason to get back into the game.
Senor Tilt (Sam Kiki)
Senor Tilt is a high-stakes cash game player and entrepreneur best known as the founder of Monkey Tilt, but also known for being a bit of an amateur.
But despite not having the respect of the professionals, he’s clearly willing to put the money on the table. He’s down around $3 million across the many streamed cash games he’s played on, but it was almost -$5 million. On High Stakes Poker, he had an epic session and won about $2 million in a single day, setting a show record.
On Hustler Casino, Senor Tilt is already down $2 million.

Senor Tilt is watchable and entertaining, and that’s fantastic, but it’s unlikely to make Negreanu feel threatened. If anything, Daniel will be overjoyed to have him there. Sam’s $2 million in losses after 121 hours bodes very well for the Canadian pro.
Steve Swedlow (Chicago Steve / "The Father")
Steve Swedlow is a retired American litigation attorney who enjoys high-stakes cash games and apparently has the bankroll to support such a hobby. Being part of a trial team that secured a $10 billion judgement again the Philip Morris tobacco brand might have helped with that.
One of his big moments at Hustler Casino was when won a $540,000 pot against the "mystery player" who turned out to be the now-indicted attorney Tom Goldstein. Swedlow had the losing hand, but Goldstein accidentally folded his cards anyway.
Steve hasn’t lost as much as Senor Tilt, but he’s not doing to well either. So far, the retired lawyer’s hobby has cost him about $220,000 since 2024.

Randy Sadler (3Coin)
Randy Sadler, used to co-own a popular smoked meats supplier in Texas and is the founder of the 3Coin clothing brand.
Randy has become a regular on HCL, Poker at the Lodge, and Hellmuth's Home Game, but has been successful in none of these games. In fact, he’s going to be going into the game with Negreanu as one of the biggest losers, with over $1.5 million down the drain from livestream cash games.

He’s got a good reputation either way, and plays as if the money on the table isn’t real. But perhaps we’ll see a tighter Randy on August 28th.

Dr. H
Dr. H is one of the most mysterious players to grace the Hustler Casino Live table. HighRollPoker writes in his bio, “We don't know much about this player.” His Instagram bio reveals a bit about his poker mindstate, without giving away his identity.
“Poker is a socializing event. I started playing Poker to prepare for my retirement life. Just don’t want to lay down and rest. Be fun, be young.”
All we apparently know is that Dr. H is a chemist. He first appeared at Live at the Bike in May 2022 and debuted on Hustler Casino Live in February 2023.

Judging by the numbers, he’s a recreational who gives action, but isn’t as splashy as Sam Kiki or Randy Sadler. Dr. H has put in more hours at HCL than anyone else on the August 28th roster though, apart from Nik Airball. His VPIP is second only to the next player on this list.
Jellyfish
One of Hustler Casino’s newest and currently anonymous regulars is Jellyfish, rumoured to be a construction developer.
Despite having the highest VPIP in the lineup at 54%, Jellyfish is winning (so far). Just 152 hours in, he’s up about $230,000, and that looks like billions compared to Sam Kiki’s $2 million deficit.

Jellyfish isn’t a professional, and he isn’t immune to tilt. After a few annoying hands on night at HCL, we were blessed with a clip of Jellyfish blasting off with 83 offsuit in a $207,000 pot.
Perhaps over a larger sample size, he might end up down in the mid-six figures.
But when August 28th comes, perhaps he’ll lock in and play solid poker. Jellyfish probably won’t even reach the same technical level of Negreanu, but he might not donate as much to the Hall of Famer as Senor Tilt and Randy Sadler.

It’s a shame that the lineup wasn’t a bit more… star-studded. Peter, Alan Keating, Tom Dwan, Jungleman; these are the kinds of players that could have made this the most cash game of the year. It still might become that, but it’s going to need some help.
Perhaps a new scandal? A suspicious call-down with 10-3 offsuit to top the Jack-4 debacle?
