FlopHero is a PLO learning tool that combines a solver for all streets, a tracker for hand analysis, and a simulator for various game situations. We tested the program: we tested the hand replayer, the hand download function, the tracker, and the simulator.

FlopHero Registration

There's no need to download separate software: you can analyze hands and use the simulator directly on the website; you just need to be online (a significant difference from PLOGenius or MasterMind). All major languages are supported: in addition to English, there are Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, French, Japanese, as well as Ukrainian and Russian.

Registration is simple:

  • You can link your Reddit account
  • Log in with Google
  • Create an account by entering your email address, full name, and password.

You'll receive an email with an activation link. Once confirmed, you can get started.

Search for Strategies

The Omaha solutions section on the website is only available for cash games. You can run the simulation in one of three modes: Precision, Expand, and Preflop Only.

Precision. This section displays optimal decisions for each street at depths of 10, 30, 50, and 100 big blinds. On the left, select a hand and suit in the matrix, and the software will display the expected value of each action. Using the Display button, you can activate the EV + Action % option, which will display not only the expected value but also the percentage value of each action.

To the right of the matrix is a list of hands with convenient filters by EV and weight. You can search for specific cards, and the software will display the full layout with specific starting hands.

You can quickly return to the previous position using Ctrl + Z

You can't choose sizings, but the following are offered by default:

  • Open raise – 3.5 bb
  • 3-bet – 12 bb
  • 4-bet – 31 bb

Expand. In the extended simulation mode, you can set limits from PL2 to PL1,000—high stakes are available in the maximum subscription version. There's also a larger selection of stacks: you can generate winning strategies for both the push-fold stage and for a 200bb depth. Before displaying the matrix, you can configure the table format for heads-up and 3-6-max and select the rake load, which is currently available in two options: No Rake and GGPoker.

Preflop Only. As the name suggests, this only works with preflop ranges, but it supports more rooms and formats. Solutions are offered for:

  • CoinPoker: There are 4-max tables with a 0.5bb ante and even 7-max tables with a 0.1bb ante from PL2 all the way up to PL2,000.
  • GGPoker: Rake is the same for cash games. You can cash out at Zoom tables with regular and double-limit cash drops of 10 and 20 big blinds, respectively. Fast Omaha is capped at PL200 in all platforms, with the upper limit included in the basic subscription.
  • PokerStars: The decision matrix includes classic tables from PL2 to PL400.

Hand Analysis

To analyze your own database, click the Upload button at the top of the page. There are several upload options, including .txt or .zip. Alternatively, you can upload a folder to the software; the system will automatically select the appropriate files. During testing, we discovered another convenient feature: to analyze a specific distribution, you don't need to create a separate file; you can paste the text into the appropriate tab.

FlopHero supports almost all major poker rooms and some apps.

Loading and processing a zip file containing 50,000 shares took a couple of seconds, and there were no issues reading the document. Working with a text file revealed the first issues with the software: the simulator only completed the file on the third attempt.

To analyze the database after loading, use the Sessions and Reports tabs. The former works like a classic tracker and displays the results of a specific session. To identify correlations, they can be conveniently sorted by date, duration, winrate, EV/BB results, and even by deviation from GTO.

When you select a specific session, a full hand replayer will open at the bottom, showing a list of played hands and any analysis that has already been performed.

To analyze a specific hand, simply click on it—the program automatically opens the training mode. You can analyze it from preflop to showdown. On each street, the software displays the EV of your actions and suggests the optimal GTO option.

You can view advanced preflop and postflop reports in the Reports section. The main page immediately displays visual statistics on deviations from GTO in all positions.

This section contains four tabs:

  • Position
  • Stack
  • Players
  • SPR.

By default, FlopHero displays a summary of all available parameters. For example, clicking Players will show you the game's score for both heads-up and 6-max games. You can filter by desired depth, table format, and stack-to-pot ratio using Filters, which contains several other useful tabs:

Spot. This is where the hand format is set: there are single-raised pots (SRP), 3-bet and 4-bet pots, cold calls, squeeze pots, lip-slot pots, and blind-on-blind play. You can also select the hero and opponent's position, as well as which street the action ended on.

Street. You can select a specific hand or individual cards with suits, and you can set the board structure: no hits, a pair, two pairs, a straight, or a straight draw. A small issue has been discovered here: there are no flush or flush draw buttons yet.

Hand. To quickly find the desired hand in the matrix, you can specify specific starters.

All tabs display a complete list of hands that meet the specified parameters. Clicking this button allows you to return to the simulator mode. The list is sorted by the street where the error occurred and by EV Loss percentage.

During the analysis, it was discovered that the analysis was not available for all hands. The solution was quickly found, as the software developers themselves write frankly on their website:

Not every hand you upload to FlopHero undergoes GTO analysis. Some are filtered out because they don't provide significant educational value. Analyzing early-position folds or including, for example, hands where everyone folded before you won't add valid information for evaluating your performance metrics; instead, it will distort the overall picture. We prioritize spots where you had to make truly significant decisions.

Tracking Distributions

On FlopHero, you can set up real-time import of hands from the poker room via Live Tracker. This is done through the More tab.

The download takes a couple of minutes, and you don't need to change the initial settings in the installation wizard. After activation, you'll need to log in again and configure the software.

To download correctly, you need access to the hand history folders. The simulator already includes paths for all popular trackers: Hand2Note, PokerTracker 4, and Holdem Manager. If you use one of them, the software will find the folders automatically. To add rooms manually:

  • Click "Add poker room".
  • Specify the site and folder with the distribution history.
  • Confirm your selection to activate.

When you first add a folder, you can import older distributions as well. During our test drive, we found that loading large archives doesn't take long, but if you're only interested in new sessions, you can skip this step.

To ensure the settings are correct:

1. Play a few hands in one of the configured rooms.

2. Open the "Tracker List" tab in the application.

3. New distributions should appear within a few seconds.

Training

With FlopHero, you can not only analyze past hands but also practice by simulating various spots. You can choose limits up to PL1,000, the number of players at the table, stack depths from 100 to 200 big blinds, preflop action, and the hero and opponent's positions. The filters are user-friendly, and the software runs smoothly. The only downside is that you can only choose two rake profiles: none at all and one for GGPoker at regular and fast tables up to PL200.

The simulator itself works smoothly and is as user-friendly as its competitors. After selecting an action, the result, deviation from GTO, and optimal decision are immediately displayed. You can train Unopened ranges (when there has been no previous action), vs. RFI, vs. RFI + Call, vs. 3bet, vs. 4bet, or a mixed format.

FlopHero Subscription Plans

After registering with FlopHero, you're offered a free training plan by default. It includes unlimited strategy analysis, but you can only analyze or simulate ten hands in training mode. Paid plans remove this limitation. The functionality is identical, the only difference being the upper limit:

  • Low Stakes up to PL25 – $35 per month.
  • Mid Stakes up to PL500 – $75 per month.
  • High Stakes up to PL2,000 – $150 per month.

You can pay for your subscription with a UnionPay card. If you prefer to pay with cryptocurrency or PayPal, please contact support on Discord or by email at hello@flophero.com . Support is available Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Moscow time. During testing, we contacted support once, via the contact form on the website; the response took a little less than 24 hours.

You can also buy software without markup (and get cashback!) at the GipsyTeam store .

The developers are currently offering a full refund within seven days—if you find the plan isn't right, you can get your money back using the same payment method you used.

What's Our Impression of FlopHero?

My impressions after a week of use are positive: registration is simple, the website worked flawlessly, and didn't encounter any significant bugs during the test drive. It's a solver, tracker, and simulator all in one—it's convenient and cheaper than competitors.

You can try FlopHero for free on the official website, and browse our shop for the best pricing on other poker tools that assist your improvement.
