Retired high roller TiltMeNot recalls his toughest opponents:
1- ben86
2- cumicon
3- berriesweet
4- ike
5- trueteller– Honorable mention: Bleznick. Not for his game. For the pain. Multi-accounting me across god knows how many sites over the years. Brutal to deal with.
Ben86 and Cumicon are extremely close. honestly should probably be tied for 1. Gave Ben the edge for being more complete overall
Needless to say top 4 in the list were always above me. Avoided them most of my career
Trueteller was a different type. pretty wild. I was down a lot but still welcomed his action.
— Assume Blez thought you were bad?
He used to hit n run mostly. No idea on his thought process. But would have loved to get his action on normal terms.
Manig Lezer spoke about his difficult relationship with CoinPoker :
Statement regarding CoinPoker
– They owe me a lot of money.
– They closed my affiliate agency due to ‘inactivity’. It was one of the biggest and most active agencies on the site.
– I reached out to many ambassadors and pushed for private arbitration, which CoinPoker
declined.
– These facts are not necessarily related to my personal issues with Mario Mosbock, who claims he’s not involved in decisions.
– This rabbit hole goes much deeper than most people understand. For legal reasons, I won’t publish any private messages, but rest assured they are securely stored and backed up with multiple parties.
– Urgent suggestion: withdraw all funds from CoinPoker immediately, not tomorrow, do not play on it, do not register for any tournaments. You might get a shiny trophy, but will you receive your winnings?
CoinPoker responded to this by saying they have no liquidity issues:
"CoinPoker has no liquidity issues. Withdrawals are processing normally and have continued without interruption. Anyone can verify this directly via the cashier.
The individual making these claims is a former contractor whose engagement was terminated for cause in 2024 following an internal investigation. The matter has been closed on our side for over a year.
We will not be re-litigating this matter in public."
Patrick Leonard also confirmed to his Instagram followers that everything is fine with the room:
Charges were brought against us on Saturday, and on Sunday, mass withdrawals began. It was possibly one of the largest cashouts in the history of online poker. Everyone received their money within five minutes. Players were convinced there were no liquidity issues. That same day, money started coming back. As a result, May 3rd became the biggest day in CoinPoker's history.
The rumors had no effect on the high-stakes action in the room. Recently, a $2 million pot was played at the $2.5k/$5k table on CoinPoker.
Another of the largest pots in online poker history at CoinPoker last night!

GucciNIKE gets there with 40% equity heading to the river, taking down a $2 million pot vs NV22 at $2500/$5000 HU PLO. pic.twitter.com/C8z7MuhBIS
NV22 3-bet $45k preflop and then bet all-in on the flop and turn. GucciNIKE moved all-in on the turn and was called. The river paired the board, and a massive pot went away from NV22.
The fan of the famous fashion brands won.
Lilian Welsh, 83, won the £560 UKPL (British Poker League) Main Event at the Grosvenor Casino in Blackpool.

Lilian won £31,390 for winning the 318-entry tournament.
According to Hendonmob, she's been playing poker since 2012. Before this success, she had 71 cashes and $50,000 in career prize money, all at the Grosvenor Casino. She'd never played poker outside of her home casino.
The author of the MicroPokerGrinder account asked readers:
– This guy jams 500bb pre from UTG, you are next to act with QQ. What do you do?

Omaha regular Leo Nordin plays a lot on GGPoker :
One month of brute force PLO grind on GGPoker. 169k hands, 96k$ in rake paid. #morerakeisbetter

– What is your rakeback?
Very unclear! 😁 Have no idea to be honest.
Its a bit random, rb points, leaderboards and jackpotts all mashed together. Some days its easy to win 3-4 leaderboards across 500-2k plo4/5/6 because noone put much volume in. Som days its just impossible to win because u r online wrong hours and done have enough games.
– That’s an insane amount of rake. Any bad beat jackpot?
Never had the loosing hand in any bbjp but was involved in several, had winning hand 3 times and got roughly 45k in bbjps total!
– What stakes do you play?
PLO4-5 500-2k.
Doug Polk announced that the Lodge Club will reopen soon:
BREAKING: All charges against myself, my partners, and the Lodge have been officially rejected.
The seized money and equipment will be returned and we will reopen as quickly as possible, hopefully within a few weeks.
The Grand Jury in Williamson county heard the allegations against us, and refused to authorize proposed charges.
Justice has prevailed.
The damage to our staff and members has been tremendous, and it is now time to rebuild.
We will be putting together a kickoff event in the near future.
In the words of a great man: “You gotta know when to hold'em”

A little later, it was officially announced that the club would resume operations on May 26.
"What I like most about stories like this is that the government never holds itself accountable for its actions," Mike McDonald wrote. "Now everyone's celebrating, even though just two weeks ago they were all shown the door. But somehow we've all been convinced to be happy again."
Reddit praised the creators of the series "Euphoria" for a poker hand.
I was watching Euphoria last night and was pleasantly surprised at the poker scene. I think it might be the most realistic depiction of a home game that I've seen.
– They weren't using cheapo generic chips
– Still using crap paper cards
– Realistic hole cards of 5♦️ 6♦️ vs 7♠️ 7♣️
– Realistic board of 6♣️ 6♥️ 5♠️ 4♦️ 7♦️
– Realistic betting
– Someone folding out of turn
– People talking, slowing down the game
– One person trying to keep the game moving
– Getting rivered by a two outter
– Shit talking after losing
There were still issues, like them not collecting the pot, splashing the pot, and the dealer not dealing perfectly, but I think it adds to how real of a home game it felt.
I'm just happy the poker scene was straight flush vs quads of something dumb.
A possible ban on headphones at the poker table has sparked a heated debate on social media.
"Banning headphones WILL be a topic at the upcoming Tournament Directors Summit on June 29-30," said Matt Savage . "I understand it wouldn’t be fully supported and likely not a rule but it definitely needs to be discussed and I’d be in support."
“Probably a matter of time before all headphones and smart glasses are banned from most venues?” asked Jeremy Ausmus.
Jason Wheeler believes there are more pressing issues:
"Way more important to ban covering face in multiple ways: face covered, scarf, sunglasses, especially all at once. Sunglasses can also have cameras. headphones seem like lowest priority of all topics IMO. Lots of people need music to play and stay calm for hours."
At the upcoming World Series, you'll be able to evaluate any dealer's performance in the WSOP Live app:
Our Dealer Rating System is coming to Vegas!
Using the new Dealer Rating System on WSOP Live…
• Players can rate the dealer at their table
• Ratings are shared internally with tournament staff
• Dealers with the highest ratings will earn rewards throughout the seriesJeff Platt and the rest of Team WSOP are excited to recognize and reward great dealers at the WSOP. Shuffle up and deal!
This innovation also did not find wide support among players.
"This seems particularly insane to me and actually cruel," Matt Salsberg predicted. "Dealer makes a blunder, 8 people whip their phone out, shaming/embarrassing someone already very stressed. This is the worst idea I've ever heard unless we get to rate their body and face too then I'm ok with it."
"I like the idea," Daniel Negreanu disagreed with the criticism. "It's a great way to celebrate your favorites."
Yesterday, the organizers added details of the event :
– For each bracelet event, the top-rated dealers will earn:
1st: $500
2nd: $300
3rd: $200That’s $1,000 per bracelet event across 100 bracelet events.
We heard the concern:
“What if one tilted player gives a bad rating after a bad beat?”Ratings refresh for every event. Each bracelet event is a clean slate, and no unfair rating follows a dealer for the whole summer.
For dealers, this program is only upside: a fresh chance every event to be recognized and rewarded.
The goal is simple: reward the dealers who help make WSOP great.
At the end of April, Chris Moneymaker placed 9th in The Venom, the WPN's flagship tournament.

In his final hand, Chris shoved 8bb with .
"Everyone telling me my ship was bad," Chris wrote after the tournament. "I get it. Think everyone knows I don’t play via charts. I had 8 bb and I knew it was light but I choose to attack the 2nd shortest stack bb. Right or wrong it was my choice and I am fine with it. Be happy that you are better at poker than me. If I can win the main event, a triton and countless other events imagine what you could do."
"Yes! More people need to go tell everyone else to go F themselves," Scott Seaver rejoiced. "Love to see it, and remember that the haters have no clue about anything ever."
The tournament was held in a mystery bounty format, with a prize pool exceeding $8 million.
Players from Ukraine took first, third, and seventh place, with FiatLab student Yevhen " yevko" emerging as the champion.

Mike McDonald cleaned out his email:
– Oct 2004. Cleaning up old emails, I came across the first photo of me playing poker. Always been photogenic.
