As the representatives of the room informed us, the successor of Stars is finally leaving beta testing (although the beta icon on the official website is still next to the logo). Progress over the past months is noticeable: lags and server problems have become significantly less, the schedule has been replenished with new tournaments, and new promotions have been launched for cash players. The bulk of the prize pool (7,400,000) will be played out in daily leaderboards. Another 3,000,000 is allocated for daily GGCare & GGCheers flipouts, and $1,600,000 is for new players in the form of welcome bonuses and prizes of the Honeymoon promotion. WSOP Packages Up to 30,000 in Satellites
GGPoker has launched multi-stage satellites, in which packages to stages of the World Series of Poker are being played out.
There are five stages (the satellite format is indicated in brackets):

Omaholic Series with $10,000,000 Guarantee
Until August 11, GGPoker is hosting the largest online Omaha festival.
Several hundred tournaments with buy-ins from 15 to 5,250 will be held over two weeks. The largest guarantee of $1,000,000 has been announced for the main tournament in the Mystery Bounty format. The ticket will cost 215, and the maximum bounty will be 100,000. Flights will start from the beginning of the series, and the final is scheduled for August 11, 18:00 GMT.
There will also be a mini version of the Main Event for 25 with a prize pool of $300,000, the second day is August 4 at 18:00.
The festival will feature The Weekender Omaholic Bounty Special every Sunday for 54 with a prize pool of $100,000.
Leaderboard. $100,000 will be played on the leaderboard, points are awarded according to the formula Log (Prize Pool) / √ (Finish Position / Number of Entries). The top 3 of the leaderboard will receive a WSOP Express Super Step ticket for $2,500.
Mobile Applications for Poker
Two new clubs have appeared in the roster of mobile poker apps.
- Supernova Alliance from Peru, where Hold'em and Six Card Omaha from $0.05/$0.10 to $0.3/$0.6 are played. Most of the game is during the day, and we observed 4-5 tables.

Prize ticket for $8 Sit&Go without ITM per day
TigerGaming has launched a permanent SNG Win Nothing Promotion, which gives away free tickets to single-table tournaments. To get a ticket, you need to play eight Sit&Go of the same buy-in without getting into the prize zone.
The qualifying period lasts from 4:00 to 3:59 GMT time the following day, only Sit&Go with Bomb Pot with buy-ins from $0.25 to $100 participate. At each limit, you can get no more than one ticket per day (valid for 7 days). For example, during the qualifying period, $15 Sit&Go for $7 were played, in 8 of them it was not possible to get into the prizes. In this case, the player will receive a bonus ticket for $7.

Updated rules in Spins and Sit&Go leaderboards
In all rooms of the Chico network, the conditions and prizes of daily leaderboards in Windfall Dash and Sit&Go spins have changed. There are two main innovations:
- There are now 12 leaderboards, 6 for each limit separately for Windfall and Sit&Go (previously there were three common ones)
- Points are awarded for each tournament played (previously, wins and knockouts were taken into account)
Prizes are paid in cash and tickets up to 100. Here are the updated prizes:
- Limit $0.25 – prize pool $25
- Limit $1.5 (1 in spins) – $50

Ban on table selection
The Stars client update from July 15 brought not the most joyful news for regulars: now it is impossible to sit at a specific table for a cash game, it will be chosen randomly. Auto-seating works up to the following limits (inclusive):
- Hold'em, Omaha (including five-card and six-card) and other no-limit and pot-limit games – up to $1/$2
- Shortdeck – up to ante $2
Some players in our international forum were quick to complain about the requirement to play 12 hands at the new table:
If you leave the table early, you will receive a temporary ban on entering cash games. Moreover, the ban may not come through your fault: the time bank has ended and you accidentally went into a sit out – the system thinks that you should get a ban, and with repeated violations, the ban time increases very quickly.
However, there was no official information about such blocking, and the complaints stopped the next day. Apparently, the restriction was introduced in test mode and immediately rolled back (or it was a bug).
At higher limits, table and seat selection are still available.
But there is good news! A few days later, PokerStars raised the table cap in cash games from four to six, so if you are not afraid of reg wars, grinding for rakeback in the room has become easier.
WCOOP Boot Camp Series with $9,000,000 Guarantee
In anticipation of the annual WCOOP festival, PokerStars will host a warm-up series Boot Camp: from August 3 to 18, $9,000,000 will be played out. The schedule includes 134 tournaments from $2.2, divided into two buy-in levels: Low and High. As at WCOOP, a variety of formats awaits: Hold'em, Omaha, Razz, 8 games and others.
The main tournament #61-L for $109 with a guarantee of $600,000 will start on August 17 at 17:00 GMT time. At the same time, the high roller version for high rollers will start: the ticket will cost $1,050, and $400,000 will be played out.
WCOOP Ticket Machine. There will be two missions available during the series:
- Play 10 WCOOP Boot Camp tournaments
- Enter the prize zone of two WCOOP Boot Camp tournaments
You need to register for the promotion (Challenges menu) and complete two missions during the qualifying period (there are two of them: August 3-11 and August 12-18).
The draws take place the day after the end of the qualifying periods (at 4:00 GMT time). Each of them will draw $75,000 in WCOOP tickets.

$2,000 every 10 days in step races for GipsyTeam players
CoinPoker is hosting the “Chances Are Growing” step races, where guaranteed prizes of up to 400 and random gifts of up to 125 are drawn every 10 days.
What is a step race? In a regular rake race, the top of the leaderboard receives prizes: the players who have scored the most points. In a step race, there are additional prizes (step prizes) that are played out between several groups of participants: one random player receives a prize in each. Thus, if you fail to get into the top, you still have a chance to get a prize.
The drawing takes place after the end of the race, the results are published in Telegram .
Rules: The promotion has no division into limits and formats: 1 point in the leaderboard is awarded for $1 rake paid at any tables.
The race ends at 23:59 GMT time on the qualifying day (the current race dates and current results are at the bottom of the page). No registration is required for the race: all accounts created through GipsyTeam participate.
Prizes are paid within 2-3 days after the end of the scoring period.

Freeroll tickets can be obtained by completing poker tasks.
For Sea Breeze Freeroll (any of the tasks, up to 3 tickets per day) and Beach Break Freeroll (any 9 per week, but no more than 3 every day):
- Play Poker Tournaments (including Blast Spins) for 5
- Win a hand in cash or fast poker with AK
- Play casino or place sports bets for a total of 2
The qualifying day starts at 00:00 GMT time.
For Big Blue Freeroll the tasks are different, you need to complete one of them within a month (July 16 – August 15, August 16 – September 12, September 13 – October 10):
- Get into the prize zone of five tournaments (except BLAST and freerolls)
- Win 100 hands in cash or fast poker
- Eliminate 10 players in PKO or Mystery Bounty tournaments
The top 300 players in each tournament will receive tickets to the London Big Blue freeroll (dates yet to be announced): two packages to the 888poker LIVE series in London will be raffled off (ticket to the Main Event, accommodation and travel expenses).
The promotion is valid for players who have already made a deposit.

On July 29, step races on 1win poker started in an updated format. Now here too, $1,500 will be played out every 10 days.

APC Online Series with a $500,000 Guarantee
The Asia Poker Championship tournament series will be held online for the first time: VangPoker is hosting the festival until August 11. The schedule includes 8 tournaments with buy-ins from $32.4. The main tournament APC Main Event will be multi-day: the final is scheduled for 12:00 GMT time on August 8. The ticket will cost $108, the guarantee will be $40,000. The winner will receive an exclusive cup.
An additional $5,000 will be awarded in the leaderboard, no registration required. Points are awarded as 10 × (√number of registrations/√finishing position) × (1 + log10 Buy-in), the scoring period lasts from 16:00 on July 23 to 00:00 on August 12 GMT time.
For registering in the tournament before the start you get 10% more points.
