Ethan Rampage Yau

Ethan Yau was born on September 12, 1997, in Quincy, Massachusetts. Before poker, he worked in sales and at a baseball-related startup, and graduated college with a degree in business management. He got into professional poker and YouTube in the winter of 2018, inspired by other vloggers — Brad Owen, Andrew Neeme, and Johnnie Vibes among them.

By 2020, at just 22, Ethan had already won his first — and so far only — WSOP bracelet, taking down the $500 No-Limit Hold'em Grande Finale, held online because of the pandemic. Rampage streamed the final table live to thousands of viewers on YouTube and earned $164,494 for the win. After that, he started playing more live tournaments and moving up the cash game stakes.

His career took off quickly from there. In 2022, Yau won the WPT World Championship $25,000 High Roller for a career-best $894,240. He's since added two more WPT titles and seven WSOP rings to his collection. As of early 2026, his tournament earnings had surpassed $3.38 million.

Ethan quickly became one of the most popular poker vloggers around. He's a regular at Hustler Casino Live, The Lodge Poker Club, and other major shows. His YouTube channel, Rampage Poker, has drawn hundreds of thousands of subscribers thanks to vlogs that pull back the curtain on the real life of a poker pro. Yau doesn't shy away from the big wins or the painful losses — in 2024 and 2025 he openly documented downswings running into the hundreds of thousands of dollars, including a video about a session where he dropped nearly $500,000 at Hustler.

As of 2026, Ethan Yau co-owns The Lodge Card Club in Texas alongside Doug Polk and Nick Airball, and stands as one of the brightest faces of the new generation of poker influencers. His YouTube channel has passed 350,000 subscribers. He's proven that it's possible to combine serious professional play with honest, no-filter vlogging — even when the results aren't flattering.
