How to Register & Buy In to the 2026 World Series of Poker

First, we'll show you how to register and buy in online for the 2026 World Series of Poker.

After that, we'll explain in-person registration and buying in, directly from Las Vegas.

Online Registration & Buying In for the 2026 WSOP

While online registration and buy-ins for the 2026 WSOP sound convenient, they aren't completely online.

Registration always needs in-person verification in the Paris Convention Center (with the forms of ID listed in the in-person registration section above). Every payment method for buying in requires the same thing.

However, registering online may save you time, and buying in online significantly offers many more payment methods. Among many WSOP rule changes this year, the payment list was also expanded.

But just know, you won't be able to go straight from your mobile phone to your seat.

2026 WSOP Online Registration

Players can make online registrations through the WSOP Live application.

To register online for any 2026 World Series of Poker event, you need to have:

  • An active Caesars Rewards account
  • A WSOP Live account
  • A GGPass account.

However, the online registration is not fully online, just partially.

You must visit the Versailles Ballroom in the Paris Convention Center to verify your account. Only after that is complete can players pick events on the WSOP Live app.

Then, players can use the ticket shown in the WSOP Live app, or get one printed at the Verification Desk or WSOP Main Cage.

2026 WSOP Online Buying In

Competitors have several options for buying into the 2026 World Series of Poker, even including crypto.

  • Credit/Debit Card: Max $10,000 per transaction. First-time use requires in-person verification at the Versailles Ballroom with your physical card and a matching photo ID. Allow at least 1 hour before your event start time. Once verified, you can use the same card online for future events.
  • ACH Transfer: No stated transaction limit. First-time use requires in-person verification with a valid ID matching both your registration name and bank account name. Allow at least 1 hour before your event's start time. Once verified, usable online going forward.
  • PayPal: First-time use requires in-person verification with a valid ID matching your registration and PayPal account name. Allow at least 1 hour before your event starts. Once verified, usable online going forward.
  • Luxon Pay: Non-US participants only. Valid ID required in person on first use, matching your registration and your Luxon Pay account name.
  • Paris Tournament Account (Paris TA): A casino account set up directly at the WSOP Main Cage in the Versailles Ballroom. Deposit funds in person, then use them to register through the WSOP LIVE app.
  • WSOP Online Qualifier Tickets: For players who won seats via WSOP Online. Requires account setup and in-person verification on first use, after which tickets can be applied to events through WSOP LIVE.
  • Landmark Satellite Tickets: For players who won seats at casino satellites on-site. Tickets must be used as the first form of payment for the next event entered, provided the buy-in is equal to or greater than the ticket value.

In-Person Registration & Buying In for the 2026 WSOP

In-person registration isn't as slow and tedious as it sounds, though buying in offline offers far fewer payment options (and no crypto).

To register and buy in for the 2026 World Series of Poker in person, you’ll need to visit the Versailles Ballroom in the Paris Convention Center.

This location is open from May 26th to July 15th, from 6:30 am to 5 am local time.

2026 WSOP In-Person Registration

You’ll need two things before in-person registration:

  • Caesars Rewards Card: Mandatory for all players, but free to sign up.
  • WSOP LIVE Account: Also mandatory. Free to register via the app or wsop.com/wsop-live.

Next, you'll need to visit the Versailles Ballroom to verify yourself.

No matter which country you are from, you will need one of the following forms of ID for this:

  • Passport
  • Foreign government-issued Driver’s License (License must have a photograph, date of birth, and a valid expiration date)
  • Consular ID
  • Matrícula Consular Card (Mexico only)
  • U.S Permanent Resident Card (PRC)

The WSOP states:

If the current, valid, and unexpired photo identification does not include a physical address, a second form of ID that indicates physical address will be required. This second form of ID can be a driver’s license, utility bill, credit card statement, etc.”

2026 WSOP In-Person Buying In

  • Cash: Accepted directly at the WSOP Main Cage in the Versailles Ballroom. Straightforward, no pre-approval needed.
  • Cashier's Check: Must be from an accredited bank, made payable to either yourself or Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. Requires pre-approval before arriving — email a copy to czrcredit@caesars.com.
  • Paris/Horseshoe Gaming Chips: Chips from Paris Las Vegas or Horseshoe Las Vegas are accepted as direct payment at the cage.
  • Paris Tournament Account (Paris TA): Set up at the WSOP Main Cage. Can be used in-person or via WSOP LIVE online. You can deposit tournament winnings into it for future use. Any remaining balance at the end of the series is returned via your original deposit method.
  • Wire Transfer: Minimum $100,000 deposit required. Must obtain a pre-approval code beforehand by contacting Andy Rich at arich@caesars.com. The code must be referenced on the transfer, or funds will be sent back.

Pay Less Than Full Price with 2026 WSOP Satellites

You could buy into the 2026 WSOP for the full price, but playing up through satellites is the smart move.

GGPoker and Winamax are your two best options.

  • On GGPoker, 1,000 seats to the Main Event will be on offer. That's usually a $10,000 buy-in if you buy in directly, but on GG, it could cost $0.50.
  • On Winamax, satellites run every Sunday for 2026 WSOP events. Other tournaments, like the €25 Expresso, also award WSOP packages.
