List of Poker Sites That Allow & Don't Allow HUDs

Many poker sites allow you to set up your heads-up display, but not all of them. Playing on a site that prohibits them could stop the poker software from functioning, or get you into a dicey situation with a frozen account (or worse).

We’ll help you to use HUDs safely.

On this page, we'll show you every poker site that allows HUDs and which ones prohibit HUDs. We're also going to point out which poker sites have their own built-in heads-up displays.

Which Online Poker Sites Allow HUD Use?

Poker sites that allow HUDs are perfect for regulars, or players who are focused on improving. Most players, even in these modern times, might not be using a HUD, or might be using them at a very basic level. If you’re using a HUD correctly, you’ve gained an advantage.

These are the poker rooms that allow the use of heads-up displays.

888poker

888poker is one of the longest-running rooms on the list, and they’re a HUD-friendly poker site.

We’d recommend an 888poker HUD like Hand2Note, which has powerful features like Reg-vs-Fish analysis and other top-of-the-line tools.

Tools like Poker Tracker and Holdem Manager also work well. Each of the mentioned HUDs will provide more than enough statistics for you, so it comes down to their interface convenience and monthly subscription price. In the GipsyTeam Shop, we’ve always got these tools at the lowest cost.

Important Note: 888poker does not allow HUD use in SNAP (their fast-fold poker game).

888poker’s Built-In HUD: This site also has a built-in HUD, though it’s quite basic and probably doesn’t offer the level of insights that experienced players need. It includes statistics like 3-bet, PFR, and VPIP, which are all available on a quick mouse-over of an opponent.

4.7
888poker is one of the oldest rooms of modern online poker, founded in 2002. Known for regular freerolls, a large selection of mid-low stakes games and it's SuperStorm and XL tournament series.

CoinPoker

CoinPoker is a popular room that allows HUDs and offers its own built-in HUD at the same time.

They are clear in their terms and conditions that “dynamic HUD tools” are restricted. A static HUD will always show the same stats, whatever those statistics may be. A dynamic HUD will adjust the stats based on the street or action you’re on.

CoinPoker also has a built-in heads-up display which shows a reasonable number of statistics, like VPIP, PFR, 3-BET, C-BET, Steal, Check Raise, plus things like WTSD and WSD. For an integrated HUD, CoinPoker’s definitely stands above the other poker sites.

4.8
CoinPoker is the first truly successful crypto poker room to stand the test of time — in 2022 some of the biggest pots in online poker history were played here, and in 2024–2025 the room hosted high-stakes cash game championships.

✅ WPN Network (ACR Poker, PokerKing, Black Chip Poker)

The WPN Network (Winning Poker Network) has several different poker rooms to choose from, like Americas Cardroom (ACR Poker), PokerKing, and Black Chip Poker.

Terms of service pages say that HUDs are allowed, as long as they only pull data from hands you’ve participated in. Standard stuff.

4.5
Americas Cardroom is a popular poker room with over twenty years of history. Since 2011, it has been part of the Winning network, known for its soft fields with americans and canadians.

✅ iPoker Network (RedStar Poker, Titan Poker, Guts Poker)

The iPoker Network has a long, long list of poker sites with similar software, all HUD-friendly. This includes RedStar Poker, Titan Poker, Guts Poker, William Hill, and over a dozen others.

Tracking software and HUDs like Hand2Note, Holdem Manager, and Poker Tracker are compatible with all iPoker Network sites.

iPoker Network’s Built-In HUD: An integrated heads-up display was added in one of iPoker's recent updates, but compared to other poker sites’ built-in HUDs, this one is quite basic. You’ll see how often players enter pots, how aggressive they are, how they’re running lately, and not much more. Stats reset after each session.

4.7
Known since 2005, RedStar moved to the iPoker network in 2020. The currencies used are euros and British pounds. The highest traffic is in the evening and at night UTC. The most popular games are low-limit cash games, MTT, Speed poker, and Twister tournaments with random prize pools. Player reviews of the room are mostly positive. The client allows you to use auxiliary software and play up to 16 tables simultaneously.

PokerStars

PokerStars is one of the longest-running rooms on our list of HUD-friendly poker sites. There’s a lengthy list of accepted HUDs to use here, including lots of popular programs and more niche options.

Unlike most sites, PokerStars explicitly names which programs they allow in poker games. Open the Spoiler below to get a look at them.

Established as one of the most traditional poker sites in the world, PokerStars brings together players from all over the world to battle in cash games across the market’s main formats, such as Texas Hold’em, Omaha, Stud, H.O.R.S.E., and less popular online poker variants.

Winamax

Our final HUD-friendly poker site is Winamax, the popular French poker site.

Players can choose from Poker Copilot, Hand2Note, PokerTracker, and many other heads-up display options.

Winamax’s Built-In HUD: Winamax also has a built-in heads-up display, which will offer you stats like VPIP, PFR, 3BET. This HUD will adjust depending on whether you are playing regular games, heads-up games, or on the Expresso tables.

However, this HUD is not available for every game on Winamax. FLOOP, incognito, and some of the more exotic options like H.O.R.S.E. won’t have the built-in HUD feature.

4.4
Winamax Poker is the largest independent poker room with up to fifteen thousand players during peak hours. They offer a wide selection of poker games: cash tables from €0.01/€0.02 to €15/€30, tournaments up to €1,000 buy-ins and an anonymous mode called Incognito Poker. Great place for Spin & Go players as well: room allows you to download the hand history and participate in Spin&Go pools. Winamax focuses on trust and cashier security. Their €100 of free sports bets and matched welcome bonus are great for new players.

Which Online Poker Sites Do Not Allow HUD Use?

Some poker sites do not allow heads-up displays. The aim here is to level the playing field. Everyone has access to the same information; whatever they can memorize, or whatever the built-in HUD shows them.

Playing with a HUD on sites that prohibit them could cause you several issues.

  • Frozen Poker Apps: The poker platform may not open properly and could prevent you from opening tables.
  • Frozen Account: Your account may be temporarily frozen or the poker site operator could lock your account pending a review.
  • Closed Account: Certain operators might even ban or close your account for violating their terms of service, which could cost you your bankroll.

Here are some of the poker sites that don’t allow HUD use:

GGPoker

GGPoker has a built-in heads-up display, but that’s the only one you’re allowed to use.

To be fair, GGPoker’s SmartHUD is far better than many integrated heads-up displays on the market. It even shows street-specific stats, along with the classic VPIP, PFR, ATS, and 3-BET.

GGPoker’s Security & Ecology Policy states:

“Any tools or services that can aid the execution of poker actions and thereby influence gameplay decisions including, but not limited to, RTA, bots (fully or partially automated), solvers, charts, or HUDs are prohibited. However, tools or services that do not support or interact with GGPoker during gameplay will not be flagged.”

Stake Poker

Stake is the ultra-popular online casino that hopped into the poker market in recent years. They class heads-up displays as external assistance that could gain an unfair advantage for the users, and so, they’re prohibited on the site. There’s also no way to download hand histories.

It does appear that some organizations are created and have created HUDs to use on Stake, but we wouldn’t recommend it. If Stake were to detect you breaking their terms of service, who knows what action they might take?

Stake Poker’s Security & Ecology Policy states:

3. Prohibited Activities and Behaviors
a. (Use of real-time assistance) The use of any external assistance in Poker Games which provides a User with an unfair advantage over their opponents, influences their decision-making in real time, or allows them to play in a manner they otherwise would not be able to replicate, including, but not limited to, charts, software, apps, websites, physical and digital reference materials.”

Phenom Poker

On Phenom Poker, HUDs are not allowed.

There’s also no built-in heads-up display, so absolutely everyone has access to the same amount of information. It’s just you and your memory collecting stats, with a little help from notes and color tags. It makes for quite an organic online poker experience.

Phenom Poker’s Terms of Service don’t go into great detail, or mention HUDs at all. We can assume that they class heads-up displays as “Software Aids”. According to Phenom, a Software Aid is a prohibited “automated tool, artificial intelligence, bots, hacks, or any other unauthorized third-party software.”

We wanted to be clear, so we reached out to Phenom Support. In about three minutes, Doug replied:

BCPoker

BCPoker is a strong poker platform for several reason (we know because we’ve done a full play test), but they do not support heads-up displays.

BCPoker’s Terms and Conditions states:

19.3. Prohibited Behaviour includes, but is not limited to, accessing or using the Service to:

creating or using cheats, mods or hacks or any other software designed to modify the Service, or using any software that intercepts or collects information from or through the Service; retrieve or index any information from the Service using any robot, spider or other automated mechanism;

One way or another, that terminology covers HUDs, even though the Terms and Conditions do not mention HUDs or heads-up displays explicitly.

WPT Global

WPT Global is a popular poker site where heads-up displays.are prohibited. There is also no built-in HUD on WPT Global.

The WPT Global Terms and Conditions have a Prohibited Activity List, and there you’ll see:

24. Using or attempting to use HUDS: display Player information.

At least WPT Global is clear about their stance on HUDs! In general, this platform is clear that they want to build a poker environment that suits recreational players. Hand histories are not available to download from WPT Global.

PokerPlanets

There are no HUDs allowed on PokerPlanets, though there is a simple built-in heads-up display. It’s definitely going to suit recreational players more, providing only VPIP, PFR, ATS, 3-Bet, and total number of hands played.

You also can not download hand histories from PokerPlanet, which experienced players won’t be happy about.

For the first time on this list, we see that HUD companies are explicitly named and prohibited.

The PokerPlanets Terms and Conditions state:

19. PROHIBITED PROGRAMS, TOOLS, AND SERVICES

19.1. You are not allowed to use any programs, third-party online or offline tools and services that may facilitate gaining an unfair advantage in games.

19.2. Such programs, tools, and services include, but are not limited to:

19.2.1. Third-party tools and services that help perform any actions in poker:

— Bots (fully or partially automated);

— RTA;

HUDs;

— Charts;

— Solvers.

19.2.2. Third-party tools and services that facilitate the accumulation of a hand history database and allow mass data analysis:

— Holdem Manager;

— Hand2Note;

— PokerTracker.

Pinco

Poker on Pinco is HUD-free, and there seems to be a plan to have a built-in HUD, but its not finished yet. In our play test of Pinco Poker, the stats were not visible. You can tag players with certain colors, but we’ll have to wait for a future update when the integrated HUD is functional.

This puts Pinco into the same group as WPT Global and Phenom Poker, where your memory is the only stat collector you can use.

However, one thing that these sites tend to attract is a larger number of recreational players. With more skill advantage over the field, you might be able to ignore the lack of statistics.
